I like the Kuro Kage that comes in the Covert Tour driver. I picked up a used Covert and the shaft seems to fit. I picked up one on easy with the intention of putting a PING tip on it. Ive got a g30 and g25 and haven't decided which to install the tip on.

Ive got the stock reg in my k15. Ive got a stock 419 in my g30 which I didn't care for too much. I've got the stock stiff in my g25 (10.5*) stock reg in my g25 (12*). Ive got a both covert 1.0 and 2.0 performance heads with one reg and one stiff KK silver shaft from covert tour heads and a 3rd KK performance shaft.

    12* SLDR "turned down" to 11*, with a Ka'ili 60g stiff shaft.

I've also got a lighter screw/weight in it, which made all the difference in having it work for me.

I have the Ping K15 as well and tried a bunch of lightweight shafts in it and my swing speed is about 85mph (66 years old). I went through a bunch of shafts.....and wrote it up on Golfwrx (http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/955395-lightweight-golf-shafts-for-the-senior-or-slower-swing-speed-golfer/). I am still using the Ping K15 (12 degree) with the Miyazaki B Asha 3R shaft. I put it in the Taylormade SLDR too(14 degree head) and, according to monitors, I go about 5-7 yards further but, in play, the SLDR has not been as consistent.

For a light shaft, the Miyazaki is very stable and would recommend it.

The Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 45 was a good shaft too but the Miyazaki had less spin and equally good dispersion ratings.

Lighter screw in the heel? Does TM make lighter screws for the SLDR?

Lighter SLDR weight itself. Annoyingly TM doesn't sell those, so like some others bought one off an eBay seller in China.

I wish. By WRX standards I am probably below average. Isn't the average drive for a WRXer like 350? LOL.

Just put a pro launch blue in an Adams Super LS XTD 9.5, only able to hit indoors right now but it might give the RBZ a run for its money. With this winter I think I'm still about two months away from finding out for sure. I can't wait to hit outdoors.

I think we will be out by the end of March. Last years winter was worse than this one and I was out on the course shortly after the milwaukee golf show. Trying to stay positive and hoping the satisfy my itch soon.

Ping i25 10.5 with Matrix White Tie firm flex. Most consistent combo for me I have ever played.

Tried to play Adams drivers for years...but could never get them to draw for some reason.

I hit a buddies G30 10.5 on a whim a few weeks ago...15 yards past a good drive with my i25, so probably will check those out once they are less than $400.

First - Thanks for all inspiration!

For the first time this winter I have been working with a Trackman indoor to try and get a good combo.

95-97 SS, I have a love/hate relation with a G30 9*, can´t switch it out because it goes really straight.

I have bought some tips and off I went.. For a start I am a high spinner (3K-3.4K)

Got a hold of Aldilas old ProtoPYPE 60S, money if you want a really long shaft (46") (2.6K) 97-98SS

    Aldila Rogue 60S Awesome feel! (2.2-2.4) 45" 95SS

    And .. Rogue 70S 44.75 (1.8-2-0)! 93-94SS and max + (think it gets to 10*)

Smashfactor pretty even between the diffrent combos : 1.47--1.51

Same SW : D1 (backweighted the longer ones)

Distance: prettys much the same, a bit longer with the longer shafts but not much and of course sever blocks with the longer ones.

My plan for the year: Gamer 9*/Rougue 70S and find another head to have as a backup with the Rogue 60S

My love/hate relation keeps on :-)
