Custom grinds on the 760's to address his issue he had with the leading edge. I would wonder since the screws are gone on the irons if no foam in his?

What was his/the issue with the soles and leading edge?

Interesting to see a lot of these guys moving into the Hi Toe wedge with all of their wedges over the raw option most of them go with. Rory had a 54 degree Hi Toe in the bag in Hawaii too.

Also, the rust building up on his P760s is so perfect.

Dug. But In a blunt way. Most good striker want an iron to cut through easy. Not bounce off of the turf. Notice the trailing edge relief too. Common when you sharpen the leading edge. Makes it a quick in - quick out kind of grind. Digs under the ball easy. But doesn’t go deep. If that makes sense.

Tungsten weighting in the toe to try to alleviate too much draw. With the grinds and it seems like his 750 dressed as a 760.

Perhaps he got that idea from Rickie's Cobra blades with the same ported weight in the toe?

JD: "I really don't want to play these irons. Don't want the screws, don't like the leading edge, want more weight in the toe."

TM: "We'll ditch the screws, plug them with tungsten, grind the leading edge and pay you $Gazillion"

    JD: "Ok"

Love seeing the custom work though.

Yup. Wondering if it's due to the custom work, his request or a very poor finish.

Rust is likely from the custom work to add the tungsten plugs and the grind.

Interesting to see the M6. He has traditionally been a player of the M1/M3. And I know Taylormade had been trying to dial in M5 for him but it wasn't spinning enough.

A former TM rep is one of the Accra reps and he convinced Jason to try the Accra shaft.
