Non-Draw bias hybrid?

All 3 hybrids I've tried (Nike Vapor Speed, Cobra F8, and Taylormade M2) always had a big draw bias and reading around I'm not the only one it sounds like. Anyone know of any hybrids that aren't designed to draw the ball? Thanks!

Have heard good things about Titleist hybrids (816 and 818 models) and how most hybrids played on tour are Titleist probably for the reason of not as draw bias I assume?

I've found the Callaway Apex and Adams Pro hybrids to be pretty neutral and both great hybrids.

Recently picked up '19 Apex, and I have to really try to get it to go left. I've always struggled with hooking hybrids, too, so I can't say enough good things about it.

Yeah I've heard good things about that hybrid. Unfortunately there isn't any on Ebay in Left-handed X-stiff =(. That's why I'm curious about to anyone who has Titleist hybrids especially the 816 and 818 model as there are a lot of them on Ebay!

Titleist 818 are great and you can swap in a fade bias weight.

I have the 818 H2 in 19 and 21*. There is still some danger of missing left if you fail to make a full shoulder turn or have too strong of a grip (same as with any other club IMO)

But the adjustable hosel and adjustable weights let me set these clubs up with a fade bias (which I do), and that made a difference. I got them in December and they aren't coming out of the bag anytime soon.

Maybe not the most sexy pick, but im a big draw player and i have an old school m1, with the sliding weight track. Put the weight way out on the toe and its pretty hard to turnover.

I have used the 816 and currently have a 818h1 in my bag. Both are very similar. I would imagine the 816 is probably much cheaper. I wouldn’t say either was draw biased. However the 818 has the weight which can be put into the fade setting. I played both hybrids in the slightly flat and open setting. The 818 has better stock shafts IMO. I haven’t tried the 818h2 which is supposed to be smaller and more of a players club. That might be worth looking into.

Yeah with price being a deciding factor, I'm looking into the 816H1 model since I've read the difference between the 816 and 818 isn't too much. I like how you can adjust to 1 degree flat and also lower the loft which helps make it more fade bias/less draw.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. In the flat open setting mine is square to maybe slightly open. A stiffer/heavier shaft for me seems to help fight the major pull/draw than any settings.

the SIM Hybrid has been incredible to me and im a HUGE hooker of the ball. Only slight draws with this one or dead straight. There is a reason the pros are open to play the SIM hybrid, its becuase its the first TM hybrid that is not 23232323 degrees closed and with extreme draw bias.

Apex. Stud. You can custom order flatter if it fits you better that way. First hybrid that I can hit a fade with.

The recent Mavrik Pro is worth a look.

Being so used to draw-biased hybrids I could not get the Apex hybrid, which was either neutral to fade biased, to even go straight!

G410, TS3/2, Apex are the 3 to look at OP. Also, a proper fitting should help too!?

I'd have to say the Apex as well, although I'm pretty biased. This thread did give me a smile though, as I'm trying to setup my hybrid spot in the bag to hook at all times! Good luck with the search!

Older Pro Model Adams Hybrids are still on ebay. The 9031 (Super and regular), XTD, Super Pro, LSP, and the A12 comes to mind. Some can be found cheap enough to where a shaft swap makes it still pretty inexpensive.

I purchased the Titleist 816H1. Heard its not very draw bias and was played on tour by many pros including Spieth. I like how lie angle can be flattened and loft adjusted so I'll most likely flatten it 1 degree and lessen the loft 1 degree as well! Can't wait to try it now Minnesota just needs to open some courses!!

Would have liked to try the Callaway Apex as a lot of you mentioned but not trying to pay close to $200...Titleist was 80.

Looking at the Mizuno CLK specs and seems pretty flat. I think it was 57* lie at the 4h.

And this was my question to this, are the ones people say are draw biased, or are the lie angles more upright? If they can be bent a bit flat, chances are they aren’t draw biased anymore, correct?

I can’t speak to models I haven’t hit. I can tell you for me, I have had the same club completely change in performance after they were adjusted flatter. I have played Ping i25 hybrids and now Ping G410 hybrids. Having them both set up flat made the ball flight much more neutral.

It is interesting you asked this question. I recently emailed Callaway customer service to ask the "Offset" specs of the Apex 19' vs the Mavrik Pro as I do not like the draw bias as hybrids tend to have. Callaway did in fact write me back saying that they could not "distribute" that information. Very interesting as to why most irons have offset specs online but not cannot provide hybrid specs?
