Got mine today and it has 4 degrees of loft, I asked for two? I am afraid to bend it myself? I am sending it back, but the insert is magic, still a touch softer than WHP but brilliant.

It appears that several early adopters of EXO putters are swapping out the OEM grips.

 

Unless you like Super Stroke or Winn mid-size or larger, Odyssey offers you very little. They have the blue/black, black/blue and black/pink Lamkin Crossline grip from previous offerings if you don't mind not keeping with the color scheme of the putter head. It's frustrating that Odyssey doesn't offer the White Hot Pro (black/white with red cap) grip or the DFX grip seen in the Tour pictures. I ordered my putter with the 3Gen black/white grip but was told a week before the launch date the grip isn't available on the Exo line (but I can get it on the O-Works). Luckily I had one last Odyssey 3Gen left to install on this putter. I also want a rubber grip I can wipe down with my wet towel during the round. Can't do that with Winn or SS grips.

It does! Got my Rossie S with black shaft and a Tour SNSR 140cc grip. Got to roll a few on the green and my impression is that it sounds soft but comes off the face firm . . . somewhere between a white hot and a milled face.

I am really impressed with the black shaft as its not shiny but also not matte, like a dull black. Seems like a quality shaft and it just looks really good on the #7

First round with 7s today. Man it feels really soft but I think that’s the muted sound. Left some putts short but first time I’ve played in a month. Overall pretty happy with it thus far.

Finally got my Indy S EXO in, the thing is sharp with the black shaft. Nice feel through impact, to me it's firmer compared to the O-works insert. Head feels extremely stable through impact, more so than the Jailbird Mini S. To me the sound is more muted than the O-works insert. It puts a really nice roll on the ball, just point and shoot.

 

Once I get it on the course I will follow up with some more feedback, only had a chance to roll on the practice green.

I believe it was Sean Toulon who is head of Odyssey Golf, who stated depending on the success of the initial release, will determine how many more putters will be added to the EXO lineup.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on one of these putters (the 7s). Do you know how easy / hard it is to adjust the lie? I know you can order with a different lie but not sure if that is bent or done at manufacture.

They just bend it to your spec.

picked one up from a fellow wxr. played nine last night. Definitely more muted and left a few putts short. feels heavier than the previous 7 series. Biggest gripe so far is keeping it clean. with so much openness going on every bit of sand, grass, etc gets everywhere and only a air blaster can clean it up.

I’ve rolled my Rossie the last three evenings and I think you may be surprised by the roll. As mentioned above, it sounds muted (similar to the sound of a deep-milled Scotty) but it comes off the face with a pretty lively roll. I’m not sure if the lively roll is due to the micro-hinge technology and it’s topspin, the MOI or a combination of both, but don’t be scared . . . it puts a nice roll on the ball.

Good to hear. I should probably stop being lazy and get the Birdie Ball green out before Saturday and roll it a bit.

 

BTW - Has anyone taken a real good look at the face? It almost looks "fake" where the micro hinge stuff is.. not saying it is, it just looks weird.

Rolled the Indy and the 7 at the store. The Indy had way too much loft, it was visibly off, nearly see the whole face. The 7 was spot on to me. Rolled smoothly and was softer than the onworks insert. Very lively face.

 

And I could still pick up the ball with the back of the putter with ease.
