A couple weeks ago I scored a Seemore FGP bronze on the bay for $30. Thus far, its been the best $30 putter Ive ever owned. The RST technology really does work.

I just ordered my Byron Morgan DH89 GSS Long Pipe from Byron, himself. I was in his shop yesterday and played golf with him on a trip last week. We discussed this the week before at the golf outing we were at. This is going to be a plain vanilla DH89 with minimal stampings with light 400 Tuna milled face. The only stamping will be on the face where he will stamp Byron Morgan vertically under the neck of the putter. The putter will be brushed Blue Oil finish but am not sure about the paint fill of the vertical script. The specs are 34", 350g, 19* lie (or 71* as it is referenced most) and 3.5* loft. Have not decided on grip or headcover yet. Some kind of Gripmaster/BestGrips grip and a magnetic cover, probably a Tuna cover.

That's what I'm thinking.

Slotline, Ping Anser 2, Odyssey WH#7, Ping Mesquite. There ya go.....30 years of golf and that's what I've owned.

However, I hate the Ping Mesquite and recently picked up a Scotty Cameron for the first time ever at a PGA Superstore and thought "this might actually be worth $300."

I didn't see anything in the store about fitting a SC, is that part of the process or do you just buy "off the rack?"

I spotted this post and sure enough, GG still have these cheap as chips after the dad14 discount. Couldn't help but grab one, plus some other bits and pieces.

I was all set to buy a Scotty Cameron Newport but went with a Karsten Anser 5 for less than half the price. Then I went and spent the other half and bought a used Ping G25 driver that will probably not help me hit fairways.

A couple of weeks ago I got a used Ping Nome, 34 inch, blue dot, strong arc in good (not great) shape with headcover for $75 at PGASS. It is the putter of my dreams. I have now nailed down putter, irons and wedges. Just need to find a driver and 3-wood that give me that same level of comfort.

Ping Karsten TR Anser 5 This is the first blade I have used in 10 years. 2 rounds so far I really like it I did remove the white paint from the grooves on the face.It looks sweet now. I am really surprised these don't get more love here. If you haven't checked these out you should.

I was testing the Anser 5 head to head with the Scotty, Bobby Grace, Bettinardi, etc. I thought maybe the Scotty was barely nicer, but not $200 nicer.

In the last 2 months I've either bought or acquired the following: SC. Studio Select 2.6, Odyssey Tri Hot #3, Odyssey White Hot #8, Ping Karsten My Day, Odyssey Ti-Hot #1, Ping 4 Isoforce, Odyssey Black #1 GSS insert, Odyssey White Hot Tour #2, Ping G5i Tess, Odyssey White Hot #2. Yet they cannot uproot my Callaway Tour Blue TT2. The Ti-Hot is pretty much a Tour Blue but in the Anser head. All have SS mid slim 2.0 now. I also got an Odyssey Staff bag for $95 shipped! My GF of 3 1/2 years understands that since I'm sober now I need a hobby and collecting putters has filled that void.... now I just have another problem lol
