I wanted something different than anything I’ll see on the course in my area. So I sold my studio stainless scotty and bought this.

Thank you Rob. Lost 9 grams in the re-finish after the overhaul so I've got a UST frequency filtered shaft in transit and a leather pistol grip waiting. Hoping to give the feeling of a slightly heavier head without adding lead down the shaft. We'll see how all turns out. I know the head feels fabulous already.

Picked up this used but nearly mint Select Newport 2.5 at the PGA Tour Superstore the other day. It had been freshly traded in and they cut me a good deal on it. There was an aftermarket black shaft on it which gives it a unique look.

That sounds like a great set-up. Lead down the shaft or tape on the sole is always a last resort for me.

Bought the Taylormade Tour Black Spider putter from 3balls.com. It was categorized as in "very good" condition, but it came in almost mint condition. There is like a small nick on the hosel and that's it.

 

Had a few sessions rolling this putter on my putting mat and absolutely love it. Feel and roll is phenomenal. I love how the putter sits so flat to the ground. The only issue I have is getting use to having no aligment on the putter. Confidence in my aim is a little shaky.

Got mine other day, 34” it is heavy, but it does not hammer the ball. I found I was able lag closer than normal. comments from guys that saw me practicing hit it and everyone’s number one comment was how stayed on line, really rolled the ball. Honestly I want to try another version in 33”

To tell you the truth I’ve got two other putters that are 34 inches and this one just feels a little longer than 34 I don’t know why but I find myself gripping down a little plus whenI meant I wanted to try maybe one of those other styles.

After countless putters, think I have my gem. Original SD 1.5 in gun blue with a smooth Cameron pistol. Mint, fells amazing, milling is awesome on the face and cavity. Truly got lucky on this.
