Yes mate, feels like it too. Heavy head but I'm not sure what weight. It's a KLP7 but a wider flange back than the standard it seems to me. Lajosi aficionados might know exactly what the model is called..

 

I originally said to you the other day that I had my eye on it but probably just looking. But somehow couldn't stop myself :)

 

Tell me about the putter in your avatar! I can't make it out, that's my kinda putter, the TP XVIII #9 type... looks like an old Del Mar?

Bought a nice Ping Redwood Anser from a fellow WRX'r. It was in great condition but I didn't care for the black finish. Just got done blasting,polishing and painting it. I love it!

Just bought this. I know it's not the original finish but I love these older style blades in this type of finish. Scotty doesn't make them like this anymore!

 

It might not be the original finish but there was no rework done on the Coronado. The milling is intact and original. What a great find!!! I love this putter (I've owned 2 of these, one was a 500 piece plated in copper).

So you should be - classic blade. Never thought I would like any new finish as much as the original BOS Oil Can but yours is mighty close, beautiful - congratulations. :-)

Thanks Rob. I've got my eye on a brand new one with the original finish too But it would be twice the price. I'll see how this one goes for a while before forking out for that if it's still around.

Wow Robot! Low that B17! Tell me it's solid copper, would be amazing if Byron did one. If it's carbon I love it either way! Actually my naked carbon 89 is the one putter that can't get kicked out of my bag.

 

The B-17 is carbon copper plated (my go to preference). Carbon offers me a softer feel. The copper plate patinas nicely and I don't have to worry about rust. Copper also doesn't make the putter feel firmer. A copper billet would be pretty cool but ...... :)
