Just picked up the Edel Brick on the BST, came in the mail yesterday and gotta say it's pretty cool! It really allows for a simple, repeatable stroke. It'll take some getting used to, but I think I'm really gonna like it.

Just got a TP Collection Mullen putter, SuperStroke grip. Always used a blade putter with thin grip.

Gonna try something real different.

Just got my new Artisan in the mail. Went and did a fitting with John Hatfield at the old oven, could not be happier with the result!

I've been thinking about trying out a counterbalanced putter on the cheap for a while now. My plan was to find a belly putter on eBay, preferably a center shafted putter in the 385-400 gram range, chop it down, and put in a counterweighted grip.

 

Well, today I ran into one that's essentially exactly what I was planning on doing, but with the project already complete. It's a Ping Scottsdale Pickmeup Belly putter that's been cut down to 35.5" and fitted with a Winn 125 gram counterweight grip.

 

It's... literally exactly what I wanted to do. It's a center shafted putter, the head is 390 grams, and the grip is the right grip. It's even cut to the right height! I usually play a 33" putter but was planning on cutting a belly putter to 35-36" and choking down until I got the right feel. I'll probably play it at about 34ish inches and save my back a bit. In other words, use it like an Odyssey Tank. I'm kind of flabbergasted at how bang on this thing is to what I wanted. And I won it for $38 at the last second.

After finally getting to roll the PING Vault 2.0 Craz-E H, I was a little underwhelmed and ended up going with this putter again. I had sold one a mint one for what I paid for it and was somewhat sorry but I have just purchased a new one again.
