What putter did you just buy ?

I wish my stroke worked with heel shafted putters, I love the look of this putter!

 

For some reason my eyes/brain don't like the look and feel of face rotation on putts

just buy it....I was told my stroke wouldn't work with the ping ZB and ive never putted better. I also just bought a Wilson 8220 and haven't 3 putted yet...if you like it, get it......liking your club inspires confidence. its a beautiful putter....buy it

 

I've tried a heel shafted putter, numerous times, with no success. I think they're beautiful but the shape, setup and stroke just don't mesh with putting style.

 

Me too. If the stupid ball would just go somewhere in the general direction I'm aiming I'd be all about using an 8802 every round for the rest of my life. But it won't, so I don't.

Just got my Ping Scottsdale TR Anser 2 from eBay... $45 shipped for me to go back to a blade style putter... Been bouncing between an old 2-ball and #9 Odyssey.

I've only rolled it on the carpet. Not 100% sure if I;m going to keep it only because it is "clickier" (created a new word) than I like. I'll be taking her out for a spin this weekend.

If there is one thing I have learned, it's that it's best to wait about 2-3 months before selling the old putter! I've bought a new one and gone back to the "old faithful" twice now.

I just picked up a Spider Tour Black. First putter change for me in over 10 years. Should be interesting, but based on my stroke at the house, it automatically feels better and more controllable. Have a few weights coming in tomorrow since the 2 gram weights are just too light for my personal preference (especially with the SuperStroke 2.0 grip that I got put on it).

I am so glad I recently purchased this. It is one of the nices putters I own. Don’t have a ton, but I own four putters and this feels amazing. Took over the bag with no questions asked.

1. Byron Morgan DH89 with an oil can finish and site dot. Wanted to try a site dot as I can't use a flange line, my alignment is horrible with them.

 

2. Odyssey Mystery 7. I've had the Lucky 777ch pictured for a few years now and it's become my go to putter. I wanted something similar with a different finish. They don't come up often, so I snagged it when I saw it.

OK - that is seriously old school. I used to have one of those. I think I bought it in the 1970s. Eventually replaced it with a Ram Zebra (kind of a Mustang Cobra thing going on with that name), then a Ping Eye2 that I still own.

I have been close to pulling the trigger on a Scotty squareback, with some toe weight. In the process I picked up a used 38 in center shafted Yes C groove mallet putter for for $45. I love the weight and balance with the longer grip. It has been two weeks and I am making puts. I know the newness will wear off and I will struggle again but this was a random purchase that is paying immediate dividends. Just fun.
