What putter did you just buy ?

Just bought a Northwestern Tom Weiskopf 303 off eBay. It was my first new putter as a teen that I had until about 15 years ago. Sadly, one day after a round where I bombed 2 drives just left OB on the 18th hole,when I finally holed out I tossed the ball up in the air and nailed it off the face with a baseball swing. Unfortunately, the putter head went almost as far as the ball and splashed in the pond nearby.

Thanks, it is a nice combination which read good for me as I was playing an odyssey #7 for like 10 years.

 

I really like the parallel sight lines, I think it's helped my alignment.

I don't have a big arcing stroke, and in theory putters of this style aren't recommended for me, but I find that stroke shape consideration is outweighed for me by my preference for clean lines and simplicity. I can't stand looking down and seeing crazy shapes and aiming aides on the putter head - I find it distracts me from seeing the line.

Got to be honest, I’m not loving the Bettinardi. I had a bad round with my Seemore but I may have to go back to it. To me, the Seemore feels better and has better distance control. I like the look of the Bettinardi more but that, alone, won’t put the ball in the hole.

Just bought a Odyssey works versa 7 this weekend off local classifieds, mint shape, 50 bucks. Headcover is beat, ordered the odyssey fighter plane style off eBay, went to GT had new grip put on it. Try it this week on course.

NDSU actually goes out to Eugene and plays Oregon in Football on 9/5/2020, I'm seriously considering the making the trip from South Dakota to go to that game.

just buy it....I was told my stroke wouldn't work with the ping ZB and ive never putted better. I also just bought a Wilson 8220 and haven't 3 putted yet...if you like it, get it......liking your club inspires confidence. its a beautiful putter....buy it

I'm currently a tm spider. Was fitted and I need to add 2 inches and flatten 3 degrees. Apparently they don't like being bent. Might try the ping route. Sigma g Tyne h

I've tried a heel shafted putter, numerous times, with no success. I think they're beautiful but the shape, setup and stroke just don't mesh with putting style.
