More Wilson Staff F5 irons. Just bought these used mint with Kuro Kage shafts. Only the 9 and 7 were hit a few times, must have been store display. Trimmed the length and re-gripped with dri-tac lite.

Great, now I have to go buy a Bomber headcover. Thanks a lot.

(that thing's awesome)

Rose and Fire is an amazing company through and through. Customer service is top notch and the owner posts his number on IG all the time offering people to call or text him with any questions they may have. Constantly releasing new designs as well (though I wasn't a big fan of the July 4, 2018 Bomber/Warhawk special edition...did get last year's July 4 special edition Red, White and Blue checker though).

Planning to outfit the wood and hybrid with some as well eventually.

How much did you trim them? How'd they feel and play afterwards? Nice looking set of sticks.

The graphite is 1" longer than the steel version. I cut off 1.5", 0.5" less than standard steel length. After everything they are D2 to D3. It worked out well. I'm 5'6" and I feel way better swinging shorter clubs.

So just trimmed and regripped? I’m trying graphite and like minus 1/2 inch, as that’s what my current steel shafted set is currently. Thanks for replying.

One of these to replace my MD3 64.

Hard decision between this and the Hi Toe, but as I love my MD4 58 and the MD3 64 this won the day after much deliberation.

Also helped by a £10 off coupon and free sleeve of Chromesofts.

Jealous! I said my bag was set on the last page but if I make any updates it'll be to get MD4s. Love my MD3 54* and the added weight on the MD4 is the one thing I wish the 3 had. Will have to wait though as I'll be upgrading the 60* to a 58* that matches vs. the mis-match I have now.

The 58 X is a wonderful club. My go-to club that does pretty much everything inside 85 yards except when I’m short-sided, the odd bump and run or have a tree/bunker right in front of me from close-in. Going to keep the MD3 to practice with at the range and just use the MD4 64 on course. Hopefully it’ll last 3 or 4 years then. The 58 however will need to be replaced more regularly as it’s hit at least 10 times per round two or three times a week and from the sand too.

Can’t speak highly enough of these wedges. The MD4 is a more stable club on full shots and long pitches than the MD3 too, I had a 52 and a 58 last year.

Well I do hope I am pleasantly surprised. Was under the impression I had ordered the J33 cb's and a mint set of the J33 combos showed up. The face on view is the pitching wedge. The whole set looks like each iron has only hit 20 balls each. Can't wait to embarrass myself with them Sunday. The definatly look like they are worth the $103 I paid.

Yep. I trimmed down to my normal length which is 1/2" to 3/4" less than standard. Then used a lightweight grip. I was able to end up with D2 - D3 swingweight since the factory specs are on the heavy side. They feel great to me. The shafts are R but feel more stiff since I trimmed so much off. These shafts feel more stiff vs. other regular shafts I have, even before I trimmed down.
