The Nike bag seemed like it didn't last very long, but reality is that I had 15+ rounds in with it in that time, including a few tournaments.. so they got put through their paces pretty quickly. Regarding the wedges, they just had too much bounce and didn't work with my home course as well as my Vokey's do. Also, I should have went with a 60˚ instead of the 58˚, which is what I play now. The wedges themselves look and feel great, but the crazy amount of bounce options in the SM5's make them tough to beat. The new Nike wedges look very interesting, hopefully we can hit them there as well. I honestly have no idea what is in store for us at the Oven, or what we will be hitting.

Wow congrats guys, what a great group! Will certainly be wishing I was a few miles down the road in FTW will y'all on Thursday! Quick request: Will you please inquire as to whether or not the Vapor Speed fairways pictured in the Scott Brown forum will be the version that comes to retail? Seeing as how those look extremely vr ltd in terms of face depth/shape, I kinda get the feeling that those will be tour only, and that the retail will look more like the catalog pictures (similar to covert 2.0 with shallower face) to reach a wider range of players. Thanks!

I'm not saying everyone with criticism is wrong and envious. There are some valid points out there. Some comments bordered on rude though.

It looks like this is just a Vapor Driver experience so it makes sense to me that you bring back the original group and update their sticks. See what they like and don't like versus the old stuff.

I don't think these guys would be biased at all. There is a way to criticize the picks without it looking like sour grapes. That is all.

I know products or develop ahead of time and maybe it takes a while to get some changes into place. Have you seen Anything that might have come from your visit or from things that might make you might've seen in the Q&A that they did?

Yes... As I mentioned we were very pointed with the panel and offered information to them from a different perspective. I plan on writing in detail about this - hold your thought - it will be answered

I nearly bought a set of AP2's in April because I was so unhappy with how I was hitting my irons.

Went back to the VRS Forged and never looked back. Will be getting a set of VPC 100% after hitting them at the Rory and Tiger event.

This is getting woefully off topic, but needs addressed, I belive I know what you are referencing, and those comments awhile back addressed "Fanboyism" that was GOING way beyond any sort of resonable reviews on this site. As a matter of fact, Site Mods put a halt on that OEM invasion that border lined turning this place into Communist BSG , rather than a place for open discourse of equipment.

In the terms and conditions of WRX, does it guarantee open and fair selection about trips??? - ABSOLUTELY not, hell OEM trips are not even referenced.

I only know of PURE's reviews on this site, and he does a damn fine job, Im sure the others where selected for their abilities and contributions to the site, so if you are distraught over not having a shot at the Nike Oven Trips; contribute more intelligently or network. GOLFWRX are not our elected officials, they owe us nothing, if you dont like it, vote with your pocket book then, and good luck with other golf sites on the net, do not let the door hit you in the a** on the way out.

There is more bitching and moaning on this thread than a sorority house - dont like the outcome talk to your therapist, then again you have the right voice your opinion. But can we for once enjoy the reviews, just the reviews, without going into a warren commission type inquiry
