Right now it is and has been the 460 with Rogue Tour, would love to see the Vapor line beat it.. lower scores are never a bad thing

Not sure if you're serious or not. I've put a lot of time into my posts on here, so calling me a Nike fan boy is outright hilarious. You must have missed my signature, you know, the one with[b] ZERO[/b] Nike clubs in it? Yes, that is after the Oven trip, and after my Shootout thread where I was less than thrilled with the Covert 2.0. Also, as Paranormal stated, you must have also missed the first "Shootout" thread I did, yes, back in 2102, yes.. before you were even a member.. where the VR LTD beat out the insanely hyped RBZ's. Anyways, if you were kidding, cheers.. And my recent "interest" in the Vapor line is because I got to hit at a Nike event which had zero to do with GolfWRX. Read more of my posts, you'd probably also consider me a Callaway DBD fanboy, and 915D3 fanboy.

I am so flattered to be going back. I only wish the entire crew was joining us. Will certainly miss Shane and George from the first trip. If it was my money, they certainly would be joining us as well!

I have no idea why we were selected over so many deserving others. The only thing the three of us have in common (All that went on the original trip for that matter) is that we all wrote very detailed reviews of the experience, then spent quite a bit of time supporting the thread afterwards.

Is that a recipe for being invited on a trip such as this? Not sure. But I believe it is a good start.

And PLEASE, I DO NOT want to start a debate here. Please keep this thread on topic.

I love your posts! Not trying to be mean. I just think Nike should have selected different indivduals. Not me, of course. As someone said, I only have 160+ posts. Ask them why they make all these prototype putters for the tour, that so many lust after, and won't/don't make them available for retail?

Actually, I can answer that one now, because we asked the question last time.

The one off proto putters you see on tour cost in excess of $1500 to produce, because they are hand built prototypes. In order to bring these models to market, tooling has to be produced which can be cost prohibitive,

Does that include the labor that is done by hand on the rounded bumpers and top lines? That alone has to be more than half the production time.

Back to the topic.. I am very honored and appreciative to return to the Oven on behalf of GolfWRX and will do everything possible to represent GolfWRX and our members as best I can. My game and bag have changed a few times since our last trip to the Oven, I have done a full bag fitting and build by Cool Clubs and I will be comparing the Vapor line against a set that has beat out my previous Oven bag by a fairly significant amount, the VR irons did get 2nd to the 714 MB/CB's in my fitting, but the rest was not very close. I have been very transparent with my reviews and posts that show "on-course" and Trackman data and I feel that my current bag is a great benchmark for me to test the new Vapor lines against. I am very excited to try the new line and more excited to share my feedback with the WRX community, good or bad, it will be posted

I will add one thing - there will not be any fluff added to our reviews. All of us have some very pointed critism and thoughts to the boys at Nike at our round table - it wasn't thanks for inviting us now its time to kiss A$$. I came with a FULL TMAG bag literally - bag too... Top to bottom TMAG. There were a million reasons why I didn't play Nike - until they handly beat every club like a drum. Still there were improvements to be made and we weren't shy about it. The driver sounded like crap and was punishing, golf ball was abrasive and off pitched... The irons and wedges were awesome..... Looking forward to representing you all again.

If the vapor line sucks - you will hear it here first

So I know that Pure didn't keep anything from Nike in the bag very long, and it appears that Swanry still has a full bag of nike. What about other people who went on the first trip, what do you still have in play.

Tai, what do you like or don't like about the wedges you received from the Oven Vs. your current wedges? Is it just the difference of the grinds and your changing playing conditions of your home course?

Nike and GolfWRX created the perception... When you don't control the perceptions that you CAN control.... You failed.
