Thorbjorn Olesen won today the Perth International using a bag full of Nike Vapors. Finished -17 (3 points over Victor Dubuisson). Full leaderboard here.

 

This event is sanctioned by the European and Australasian Tours played on Perth's 6,521-meter (7,131-yard) Lake Karrinyup Golf and Country Club course.

On the International stage, the Nike athletes are having some early success with the Vapor line.

Really can't wait to hit the Vapor line up. It all looks really solid and the early tour success will only help get people to consider Nike more than they had previously. Really exciting.

Wow. As I sit here watching what I thought was a very close tournament, I hop on WRX to read up on the RSI TP and Nike Visit posts and this headline slaps me in the face. Good for TO. I'm sure the excitement and anticipation leading up to the end of the tournament was a blast. Wish I could have shared it. HA HA!

funny story about olesen from last year's firestone tournament...one of the marshals conveyed to a group of us wanting to cross 10 fairway, every time olesen came down the fairway, he would ask the marshal for, in his words, 'toilet'. not 'the toilet', or 'porta-john', just 'toilet'. and it was always at the 10th hole (i was there on a sunday). i guess for next year's tournament, they will have to move the 'toilet' to where he can see it (lol).

Pretty happy for Olesen to get another win. I scoreboard carried for him at The Open this year on the Friday, and he was seriously impressive to watch. He and his caddy are pretty good guys as well, both introduced themselves before the round and also his caddy chatted to me for a bit after the round which most don't tend to do too often.

I used to watch them live too but they are now only available at Foxtel which I don't have.
