J13's WITB: Update- FUJIKURA AXIOM

About drivers, I have a G LS and M2. I have taken them out on a couple of after work 9's to compare them. They are both the longest drivers I've ever owned. The M2 has a slightly better feel and sound, but overall the G LS is more forgiving, so it has stayed in the bag. I had an M1 that was freaky long when I caught it right on the screws, but I got a bit wild with it at times.

I am going for a fitting soon and I'll be taking all the clubs with me to see which shaft combo works best for me. So far the G LS with an Accra CS1 shaft is the winner winner chicken dinner for me.

Now back to Super Mole 50!

This mole is a savage. My guess is that he can hit the ball an actual 300 yards AND hit it straight as well. The Chosen One who will change the perception of guys playing tees tipped out at 6300 yards with swing speeds in the upper 80's who don't believe such a being exists who can do both based on what he has seen among the 2 guys he regularly plays with.

The Chosen One who will change the perception of guys playing tees tipped out at 6300 yards with swing speeds in the upper 80's who don't believe such a being exists who can do both based on what he has seen among the 2 guys he regularly plays with.

Seriously, the mole stuff is funny, but they can be a ROYAL PITA! I get them in my yard and they are very difficult to get rid of...especially if they have babies!

I hope #MOLEWRX hasn't multiplied! Your Super would really go postal! (But on the bright side, you will have an excuse if you miss a putt. "Must have been the mole...")

God help us if they multiplied. I'm awaiting an update I think he suspended his normal duties until either he or the mole is dead. Only 1 of them will be breathing by days end haha :o

It's just like the Thunderdome, two go in, one comes out! :-)

Okay so I did get an update and the war is over. Although Charlie had the clear advantage being an expert in the building underground tunnels he was taken down by a swift and mighty blow. The email from my Super says it all

Okay now that Charlie is in Mole heaven it's time to get back to golf. Testing is underway with some new toys so i'm hoping to make some decisions come early next week. In the hunt is

Taylormade m1430 8.5

Sub Zero 9.5

Ping G LS 9*

Nike Flex 440

All are being tested with my current shaft (agera) and also testing the Tensei White.

So hopefully i'll have an answer come this time next week as I'll be playing and practicing over text 4-5 days. So far I have about 2-3 rounds and a few practice sessions in. Have to say i love testing drivers / shafts :D

I think you'll like M1 430. It's not as unforgiving as SLDR 430 was. Pair it with a low spin shaft and it's a dirty beast.

I'll also be interested to hear how it compared so Sub-Zero. I've been debating picking up one to try. But between, the M1 and the Bridgestone J715 B5, I can honestly say I'm pretty happy with my drivers right now.

I said this before on another page but I was originally fit for the 430 in a CC fitting on trackman I just never actually bought the head and instead grabbed a 460 at the time. So far the 430 is pretty damn filthy. I have no problem finding the center in fact I hit it MUCH better then the 460. I know most people would say I'm crazy but the trackman verified that in my fitting. Also the 430 is a Tour Issued head so I built it just the way I wanted. It's an 8.5 but actually 8* :D

Some more testing yesterday and the cream is rising to the top. The M1-430 and Sub Zero seem to both have that extra gear that I like while the Flex and G LS are falling behind. Probably get out another time to practice this week and play on Sunday morning so my decision should be pretty easy by that point. Shaft wise i'm not sure yet as Im' waiting for a TM adaptor so i can pop the Tensei white in the 430.

Properly setup M1 with a Tensei White (or any preferred shaft) is going to be hard to beat.

Is that an M1 or M2 3 wood? I'm thinking about getting a White TX for my 3 wood but I'm content for know with the Kuro Kage XT 80.

In the pic is a Tour issue M1 430 and M2, also have an M1 460 but it's in my locker. The 3 wood is an M2 Tour issued 15* with the White 80TX. The Kuro Kage XT is an excellent shaft as well, can't go wrong either way.

Haha, to be honest I really like the shape of the head, always have with the Nike fwy woods. Adapter is still too bulky but overall it's a nice fwy wood just a bit spinny. It's coming down to the Cally 816 Alpha and M2.
