What equipment company do you think you'll be gaming now? Really like my VPC's so they may be in the bag for a while.

 

Same here. I like my irons. Don't think I'll be switching anytime soon! It'll be a while till I switch it up.

So I just heard on the radio that Nike is no longer going to make golf equipment. Crazy

Saw a "Nike is done" thread in the equipment section. Can't even open it. Having problems processing my grief.

 

Slightly bright side....should have some Modern Washed pants and a Flex Knit 1/2 zip arrive in the next day or so.

 

And doesn't the Olympic release drop tomorrow? Maybe one last putter cover?

Serious question, what now? I plan on keeping my irons and wedges until they wear out and my putter is firmly in the bag for a long long time. That being said, I get OCD with my woods and like to switch those. Have you guys tried most of the other stuff? It's going to be so so hard to replace that amazing Nike feel in the woods. Thinking cobra in the driver and M2 fairways eventually. That being said, keeping my Nike clubs around until 2017 at least.

Does anyone know why the 2016 Nike thread was locked?

 

In theory, I can kinda see why the 2017 Nike thread was locked (although I don't understand why anyone would even care if it stayed open), because it is in the Tour and Pre-Release forum. But the 2016 Nike thread is in the plain old Equipment forum. And we had a little community there. Seems like the perfect place to discuss 2016 Nike equipment and what has been happening.

Gotta imagine they'll stick with gloves maybe, Under Armour does. Very sad, just got a method putter and was gonna slowly transform my bag to all Nike. Loving the method and now its got some extra mystique to it. Wondering if Nike club prices go up or down with this news? If down I might still go all Nike and rock out with the vintage look pounding my chest and finger pointing whenever I see a fellow Nike golf head.

I'm wondering the same thing. I was planning to get Vapor Pro Combo or VR Forged Pro Combo to replace my Covert Forged. I might have to buy another TW Vapor Speed for backup. Hopefully everything will be cheap.
