I got a really good deal. I’m currently trying to find someone to soften up the bumpers so it will look like Pure745’s 006 and then it will go in the bag. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

You might reach out to the guys at Artisan Golf. I know they have done some refinishing/customization on Nike items. Plus, you'd be getting the work done by the guys that built it in the first place.

 

I'd be sure to mention that your 006 has the custom serial on the hosel. They may even be able to tell you who it was made for/the story on the club (if you don't already know that)

Lamont @ MANNkrafted is local to me, so I met up with him the other night to drop it off. First of all he is a really cool and nice dude and second, he sends in progress pics :) ... Starting to look exactly how I'd pictured it. Just has to blast it now to restore that original satin look.

Just picked up a B2-01 at the local golf store on clearance..

 

Rolled it in the store, seemed really soft on the face.

 

Not sure if i'll keep it or not (I'm a scotty guy at heart) but it's a really sweet putter!

 

and the price was a no brainer!

Unreleased Prototypes and/or Tour Stock that were left naked to be able to add specific sight line preferences for the Tour players.

 

Finally got myself one. Putterspa added the sight line. Excited for this!

 

That looks good! I keep toying with the idea of having a top line added to my naked B2-05.

I have one of these too. The original Method 001 Proto from the Oven. Naked and with a flow neck. Gorgeous!

 

Sadly it does not get enough play time because of the other putters already in the bag.

Having a little fun with this one. Never been good at stamping so I decided to Dremel etch this one.

 

Played a b2-01 last year and stumbled upon the b2-05 and love it. Custom paintfilled it in black and pink.

 

Decided to do the etching, and also have a copper insert coming so I am going to black out the paint fill for a black gold silver look.

 

Have a cameron long neck that I am going to torch to try and get to a deep purple rainbow. If it goes well the cameron will be for fun / special occasions, the nike will be the gamer.

 

Anyone have any input on how they liked the copper insert? I figure if I hate it I can just buy a new b2-05 online for 60$

Slight update. I'm in love. Epoxy still drying... interesting but I think the only thing holding our inserts in is tape...

Wish I tried these sooner. Really love the balance and weight. Enough feedback to know when you nut one and nice solid feel. Didn’t think I would like the insert, but glad I tried it out.

I did get back on the Method Origin party bus. A very nice 35” B1-01 from Dallas Golf. I’ll keep this one forever now. Even if the EVNROLL knocks it out.

The original methods feel more like metal to me. Obviously there’s the polymer behind the face that makes it a little softer, but it still feels like a milled putter. The Origin feels softer with the rzn behind the face. Felt more like an insert putter than the Method. Both feel really good though

i have 5 methods... since i'm a nike ho, i really wanted to love these things.

 

yet, when i roll that newport 2, it just seems so much softer and less clicky... which is what i prefer.

guess there is a reason TW immediately went back to his gss

Putter feel is so personal. I personally love the original Method feel and like them much more than the Origin. Nothing against the Origin - very solid putters, but I like the feel of putting with a milled face and have more success with it.

Shoutout to Tony Romo rolling a Method Putter in Puntacana. I couldn’t tell what model he had. Guessing something he got from The Oven.

 

I still bag 006 sometimes it’s a such great putter that I’ll never get rid of.
