The ground is too warm as it is. 40 degrees tomorrow. I wish we could just head to Texas and be done with it. I need some 80 degree temps!!

The more recent models have the freezing temp line moving further and further north. We'll see what actually happens, but I'm expecting more freezing rain, assuming the pattern holds.

This weekend we were having a couple folks over, and I thought I'd make meatball subs from scratch. I made this ridiculous rustic crusty Italian bread in round loaves, tomato sauce with butter and onions, and meatballs from beef and pork (which I got at a farmer's market on 97, in Brookville, or something like that). Really good parmigiano reggiano, mozz, asiago, and fontina.

 

So, I cut each loaf in half, hollowed it out, stuffed in sauce, meatballs, and cheese, wedged them into a casserole dish, and dropped a ton of cheese all over the top and baked. It was ri-meatball-diculous.

 

So, this morning I'm talking to the wife about supper this week and mentioned spaghetti and she goes, "I'm not eating spaghetti after I ate that whole god d@mn meatball sub on saturday." She was mad at me over the sub.

 

She actually apologized for cursing out my sub. And she skipped supper on Sunday.

DiPasquale's in Highlandtown makes a similar meatball sammy. No need to eat again for at least a day.

Throw some salt down the driveway around 8ish (now i dont know... rain will just wash away the salt..hmmm)

Looks like on NBC's new snow map I've gone from 10-12" to 3-6" to completely into the rain band.

 

No chance the govt is closed tomorrow. Western schools, sure. But 2 hour delay at most for the govt.

My Dad taught me to always stand on the high side, arm extended with the flag in hand. Nevr have your shadow over the hole. Once you see the guy start lining up the putt never ever move your feet or putter if it is on the ground. He maybe using one of your feet or putter for his line.

I'm hoping we're closed tomorrow as I want a snow day. In an ideal world, we get about 3 inches, just enough to close things for a day, but enough to be clear by Saturday for us to tee it up.

Just finished removing the grip and tape from the rest of the irons. How good is warm water to remove very light tape residue? Or should I go for the Goof Off?

It shows it moving more north on the recent radar for my area. Not a bad thing but don't know about B town boys...

 

At least we know that PG county or Dagoose land might be playable for Saturday ;)
