Fox Broadcast - US Open

unlucky we get the fox feed on SKY Sports and i have been watching golf for 2 hours now...

i can click on the red button and get the FOX feed but all there ever is is 4 folk sitting chatting...

Citing an unnamed source when you are bringing up drug use on what should be a golf broadcast is about as bad as it gets. Fox sucks pretty bad.

The XM broadcast has been excellent. Listened to it on the way home from work the past two days and just had to make a run to the store so I tuned in again. Not as good as watching, but the analysis is a lot better.

Coverage is weird, maybe I'm just so used to the traditional way of viewing things,but there is no build up, no excitement. It just feels empty in a way. Maybe it will change tomorrow, being Sunday at the U.S. Open and all,but for now it's just weird.

Exactly. And did you see the Hoerschel putt that actually bounced off line. You can't have greens made of two different plants that grow at different rates. They have to go total poa to save this course. I'd hate to see your National championship decided by a jumpy 5 footer. A good putter can lose, and a bad putter can win.

I think it's a great course. No one is forcing these guys to play in the US Open. They all know what to expect.

As to FOX, I think they are doing a fine job.

And for those that don't like the course, that's fine. You never have to play it.
