Aston does not have enough space for 2 sets of golf clubs and luggage so no good for road / golf trips, which we take many. Been with P-cars and BMW's for years... Sold the 996 C2 a while back, and went for the Cayenne TT SUV.

Aston is timeless but like you pointed out, not practical. Always love the BMWs (E92M3 & F10M5), daily drive, track use or long trips, but I'm getting tired of being charge that "M tax" on everything. Waiting on the NSX to hit the showroom floor, it's one of my dream car since I know anything about cars.

I haven't read all the posts, yet, but I assume someone is going to bring up the van.. While the lack of windows makes it creepier I am just gonna go ahead and back you up right now..

 

One guy in our close group of friends had a conversion van in HS, it will forever be one of the best memories of my youth. As cliche' as it might be to say, it was basically the scooby doo van. Smoke rolling out the windows and all. Road trips, golf trips, girls... that van was the best, for everything.

I tracked the P-cars. but no longer doing that... Been enjoying the TT/F01 "M" pkg on road trips and may track it later this year, just to see what it does top end; no governor. Was told it should hit 170+. Had it at 135 with no effort. But what surprised me was in ECO mode, got 25mpg on one 800mi road trip. I understand why your waiting for NSX, it's one sexy beauty.

I had a guy pull up next to me at a gas station in one of those not too long ago. His was black and it sounded hot. Looks very nice in person. My wife drives a 09 Impala. It's a good size with lots of trunk space and gets 29 MPG all day long on the highway with the V6. Good luck!

Very true. If I get one it will be silver. I have an fascination with silver cars. I have the LS4 5.3L V8 in my impala. I've done a bit of work to it as well. It should be right around 350WHP. For a FWD car, that is more than enough. I've had it for a while now and actually had to have the tranny rebuilt last year. Time to get rid of it before the warranty on the tranny is up.

clocked in just over 200k on a 2006 Lexus IS 250. Traded that in a couple months ago for a 2016 Honda Pilot. Come june when the lease is up, gonna trade in the wife's VW tiguan for a 'fun-family' commuter. WRX, GTI, or Mini Clubman are currently in the running.

 

2005 Yamaha R6 i use to club race prior to disovering this game. Turned it back into street-legal status a couple years ago when i got the itch to ride daily.
