He didn't say retro, and wore three pairs exclusively through 97 rounds this year. Absolutely no ankle rubbing and I wear no show socks.

Yeah I have 3 pairs of ADG 3’s and owned 2 pairs of the original ADG. The 3’s outside of the squeaking are by far my favorite golf shoe ever. Never an issue with any rubbing at all. This comes as an exclusive walker as well. Might pick up another white pair for next season.

I had some initial rubbing on the underside of my right, outside ankle bone with the ADG3s. Maybe they come up a bit high on the sides, or maybe my ankle anatomy is goofy. But I threw another insole in the shoes over top of the oem ones, and that raised by ankle up beyond the point of contact. As soon as I got that squared away, they were my go-to shoes this season.

Flight Runners, ST Gs, and 11s - that's my rotation. I've heard good things about the ADGs as well but haven't tried any of them.

For myself neither annoying nor uncomfortable, just something different. I generally prefer very low shoes but hardly notice the difference on these.

Has anyone done a sole swap with the golf 4's? Not sure if it's possible but I'd like to take a Tiger bottom and put it on the 4's

I had the White Cement 3s (traded em away for the Concord 11s) and have never bought or worn the 4s. The 3s were comfortable, never bothered me, but they felt a little too big/clunky and sometimes felt too high on my ankle.  I imagine the 4s are similar...

 

Ultimately the 11s are perfect for me. Comfortable and lower profile.

How does the size of the 4s compare to the sizing of the ADG3s? I went down a holf size from most of my shoes for those so want to make sure before I spend some bucks on Ebay.

I have ADG3’s and the Retro 4’s. I would say the retros definitely fit a bit bigger. I have both shoes in the same size and it’s fine but I could get away with a 1/2 size down in the 4’s.
