I’m not picking on you here, despite it maybe appearing like I am… but what do you (you=people) expect to happen with the leather uppers of shoes when you wear them? Especially with a golf shoe, where you’re completely bending your foot (at least your back one) through the course of repeated golf swings…? It HAS to crease, doesn’t it? How comfortable or effective would a golf shoe be that didn’t bend with your foot? And where it bends, how could it not crease?

I’ve never understood this complaint. Please enlighten me.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN "YOU PEOPLE"? 🤣

No, you're absolutely right. With the motions that our feet make during a golf swing, and with the massive amount of walking, they will definitely crease. Honestly, it has been along time since I've owned a leather golf shoe. My last ones were donor FJs and that had to be at least 5 or 6 years ago. I think the bunching of the leather just from wearing them sitting at my desk concerned me. I don't know how to explain it other than 'bunching'. The leather gets distorted and wrinkled in a small spot (almost a pinch point?) that wasnt actually the crease across the front of the foot. I also noticed that it wasnt just 1 spot where the leather creased. It seemed to be all up and down the toe box. If my toe box has 1 or 2 creases across, I get it. If the entire toe box looks like a crumbled mess, it really takes away from the aesthetics of a classic shoe.

OK. So I did get to wear them for a nice long walking round this weekend. Lots of elevation changes and damp grass. My round was horrible, but it certainly wasnt due to the shoes.

PRO: Plenty of traction for me. About as comfortable as I can expect when I'm putting it up against something like the ZIT that has a ton of tech. Certainly comfortable enough to easily walk 18. They are also super easy to clean.

CON: The creasing. It really was all up and down the toe box at the end of the round. I never use shoe trees, but I definitely put some in these. This morning the creasing is much less noticeable.

Seriously, maybe I need to google the care of leather shoes. Do you all use shoe trees on your leather shoes to maintain shape and reduce a ton of creasing? Anyone got any tips for me?

I am leaning toward keeping both pair. I like the fit, feel, and function of the shoes, and I don't have any classic style shoes in the rotation. That being said, I was honestly looking at FJs to fit that "classic" style look since they are spiked. Jury is still out, but I bet I'll end up with them on my shelf.

Is everyone down sizing by half on the 12s?

I generally wear size 11 in Nikes/jordans (have st trainer g's in 11 and they're great) and got a size 11 in the 12 taxi's and they do have a little extra room in there for me - not enough to size down though.  Also got an 11.5 in the 12 taxi's for a friend (who also has the st trainer g's in 11.5) and they were too big for him.  - I would just gauge how well your other nikes fit and if your size you have some extra room - i'd size .5 down (or stay the same size if your currents fit ideally) - clearly something you could've worked out on your own, but just thought i'd share.  haha

Winner winner chicken dinner.

I just dropped off the all whites and received a response from them stating they also dropped theirs off today and I should receive Thursday. Will hopefully be celebrating and posting pics here once I do like you!

Can confirm they do run large but as a 13 wearer, not much I can do.  No 12.5 and I know 12 will be too small.  I’ll wear thick socks. Almost afraid to play golf in them. May only wear them casually.

good luck  At least they had a back up pair to send you and they were not sold out.

that’s my predicament! 12.5 has to be the lowest stock of all sizes

Also not seeing these on NDC or the app; maybe you have early access?

They weren't early access.  They popped up on NDC for about 15-30 minutes. You could add sizes to your cart, but when you went to checkout you would get an error message (and the overall "total" in the cart would show $0.00). It didn't matter how many you added or took out of the cart. It was a typical glitch by Nike.

Got the ADG4's and sending back. they are terrible. better off with FJ premiers...more comfortable and better looking.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Do you have anymore input to why you didnt like them comfort-wise?

Wore the black pair today. They were extremely comfortable. That's coming from someone who's been extremely critical of Nike Golf.

Got the black yesterday. I am on the fence on whether they should go back. This is just my opinion so take with a grain of salt.

The shoe is very classic looking in person and honestly while wearing you can't really tell its a jordan. The only sign that it is a jordan is the back logo.

The bottom of the shoe feels very sturdy and of high quality. The top part of the shoe feels very thin and of lower quality.

I really like the grip on the bottom.

The shoes run just a tad small but not bad. I would consider to be reasonably comfortable and the only area where they could use more room is the toe. The shoe kind of fits similarly to a more sturdy bowling shoe.

Since the shoe is so classic looking, in black, you probably could get away with wearing in an office setting.

My main grip with them is the value vs the actual shoe. I like the shoe and Id probably keep if they were priced like the old ADG. But for $180, it just seems like it is better to wait for shoes that I love. Ones that are more Jordanish. You could easily get competing shoes in other brands for less and likely more comfort. And since these don't really look like a Jordan, there is nothing holding it back from being comped to other shoes.

The problem with the price increases on these, is the difference in price between the Taxis and these are not that far off and the Taxis feel like a very premium shoe.

But it is definitely a nice shoe and Id probably keep if they were priced more to match the shoe.
