Anyone still playing these?

How did they work out long term?

Whats the forgiveness like? (I don't remember, I think they were close to my i25's that I had)

How's the forging holding up?

I had them for 2 rounds but sold them. I hated the DG Pro shaft. I should have kept them and swapped the shafts out!

I still have them in my bag and they are not going anywhere. Yes, I flirted with MP5s but quickly came back and I did try the z745 but for me, they were not even close to the stones for feel. Regarding holding up, mine have been in my bag for the last 1.5 seasons and they still look great. I must say that I got my hands on a set of J015 CB from Japan and they are outstanding. Smaller profile, thinner top line and same forgiveness that you cannot beat. Of course I will always test and try different irons but I highly doubt I will find something that would remove them from my bag.

Still playing mine after 3 seasons.

Can't find anything else to take them out of the bag.

Feel is great, still forgiving but can work the ball as much as you'd like.

Doubt I'll be replacing these until I am forced too.

i couldnt say it better. I absolutely love my j15. But i swap the dg pro with the ctaper lite, a better fit for me.

Played a round yesterday. I have a particular shot in mind

I had 174 to the pin wich is for me, my max 5 iron. Grab the 5 and honestly, the ball barely touch the groove. One of the worst shot of the day, i was ashame of me... it was still in line with target and it was barely short of the green so made the upanddown.

I dont even look at others irons anymore. Classic look, forgiving and beautiful. But they are soft, they getting to show some bag chatter. I think that give them caracter!

I just had my first round with them this weekend and so far I am impressed. They are a club longer then my pings and a bit more forgiving. I was a little apprehensive about the sole grind but they seem to work very well. Hit these a little fat and these seem to auto correct. They don't dig much of at all. This certainly makes then more forgiving for me as that's my miss.Shots off the middle feel awesome.! I'll be keeping these awhile.

Side note on these. The build quality is very good. Ali ferrules were right and turned to perfection. Swingweight thru the set had a spread of about 1/4 point. Grips were all aligned perfectly Lengths were all spot on. Some of the other new clubs from one of the big names manufacturers I got recently were not this good.

Interesting. I was comparing these to the Ping I e 1 and I was 10 yards further with the bridge stones. Anyone else compare the two?

Specifically how do they compare to other irons in terms of forgiveness

Lol, these are what replaced the 850 forged for me. For my game, the CB's were equal in forgiveness for heel-toe misses but the 850's were a little too "diggy" for my swing(I have a tendency to get a bit steep). To top it off, the CB's to me had a softer feel, equal in distance along with a tad higher ballflight.

I'm about to order a set of these, curious as to what shaft you guys went with. I only got a chance to hit them in the DG Pro S300's and my results at least on the monitor were very good, about a club and 1/2 longer than my MP-57's. Anyone suggest another shaft they liked better? Currently playing kbs tour stiff and ball flight is a little too high for me.

It came down to these or the srixon 745's, I really wanted to like the srixons more, but the J15's just flat out performed and felt noticeably better.

Mine will be staying in the bag for the foreseeable. Truly great irons. Enough forgiveness, fabulous feel. Nothing to dislike. Only slight issue for me has been a relatively low spin rate than I would ideally like, but apart from that (which is probably more user error frankly!), they're the best irons I've used for 10+ years.

Was going to get a set, but fell into a deal on a set of T-MBs.

I'd still be playing the J33 CB irons if the USGA hadn't made them illegal with the stupid groove rule. Those were such good irons.

Still trying to dial in my J15 CB's after 3 rounds. I'm going from PXi's in my last set to DG Pro's in the Bridgestones and am having a few issues. I think the heavier shaft weight in the DG Pro's vs the PXi will take some more time to get used to. A little inconsistent right now, but there is no question that the CB's are absolutely awesome when struck clean.

These irons are flat out terrific. Re-shafted them with my trusty PXi 6.5's and am super confident with this set up now. Can't say enough good things about the J15 CB's. If anyone is in the market for another set of irons and can find a set of these, you need to buy them before they can't be found anymore.

second this. I want to buy a new set of irons but the main reason is just to try something else. These will never leave my home.

Totally agree with the general sentiment. I'll probably go try the new Mizuno jpx 900, and the Srixon Z765, but it'll be more out of interest than with any kind of intent in replacing my J15CB's. As a lefty, I know the chance of getting another set of these, if I ever got rid of them, is pretty much zero. I may pop a Srixon U65 in my bag, but I just can't see anything on the horizon being able to knock my J15CB's out of my bag.

These irons are awesome. I have only played 2 sets in past 10 years with this being my second. I only ordered 4-PW but find little difference in carry distance between the 4 and 5 with the close lofts. They are amazing with Steelfibers.

I will not change again period! Everything about these irons fit me perfectly. Looks, Feel & Performance. I've played many blades over the years, these are awesome.

I'll look at new offerings - I'm a WRX'er of course, but I've never been so content and I have no interest buying something different.

Note - It's extremely important to have the proper shaft fitted to you! That goes for all sticks!

So in the next 5+ years I imagine I'll need to change shafts eventually.

I think there is some sort of conspiracy going on with the top selling brands forcing B'Stone to move on or out. Because once you have these J15 CB's you wont be buying anymore!
