For my Mediterranean diet I use only an olive oil mayo.  Though somewhat rarely.  Until a few months ago I didn't even know it existed.  But I love a little mayo on a grilled salmon sandwich.  Mmmm...

 

Oh, and to my untrained taste buds it tastes the same as regular mayo.

Just made a big pot of turkey wild rice soup.  Had too much turkey left over for only omelets and sandwiches.  Last night I was so turkeyed out I made a Neapolitan pizza, thanks to Stanley Tucci.  Fresh made pizza dough, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil leaves, olive oil, tomatoes, tomato sauce and sun-dried tomatoes.

It wasn't greasy because it was made with leftover prime rib from the Thanksgiving buffet.  LOL

I hear ya MIA if it's a greasy good one I am not adding any mayo. I was grateful they did it us right with plentiful amounts of red and green peppers in with the sautee'd onions. 

 

It was delicious.

One of the reasons you will see me do a shot glass of Olive Oil everyday---- We also use Olive oil in everything requiring oil. The only exception is we maintain our cast iron stuff with good old Lard just like Grannie did. In fact 2 of my iron skilletts were my Grannie's and the wife uses lard in her biscuits

I had a 49 panhead that was chopped and raked. That thing leaked so bad you wanted to carry a quart of oil with you if you were going very far.😆

That was how you knew when a Panhead needed oil--- It stopped leaking== same for a knuckle a flattie or older kidney case shovel too
