We have an A&W in town, right around the corner on the main road.  Always busy in the summer, this was the first winter they stayed open.  Papa Burger, cheese curds and root beer.  What's not to like?  We usually just pickup a half gallon and make our own floats at home.  Using real deal, made at the farm, Cooks Dairy ice cream.  Nice location, sits on a small rise.  Deck and tables in back along Duck Creek.

Just to verify that I did indeed make some pies yesterday.  Two of the same, first one out of the oven.  A wipe of olive oil on the dough, grated parm, liberal amount of roasted garlic, chopped spinach and artichoke hearts, and topped with sliced fresh mozzarella.  Baked for 12 minutes at 550*.  Pretty good.  Had a cold leftover slice for breakfast.

Hed make very similar but just focaccia style with no cheese, maybe little parm.

some areas are increasing rents by 25% - 100% every renewal period to drive people out. they’re left uncleaned and abandoned.

 

drives up rent prices and the “housing shortage” is being used to try to eliminate rent control laws.

Warehousing is actually when rent controlled apartments are wayyyyyy below market and is in bad condition and a landlord doesn’t renovate it because the cost to renovate don’t justify the far below market rent they’d be forced the charge 

 

In some cases an apartment that would rent for 4k on the open market, the landlord is forced to rent for 1k

 

Plus the real number is more like 3.000 of these apartments

Sickening!   Nobody is happy just making a decent profit nowadays.   They have to cut your throat completely.  I recently paid $225 for a car battery and $60 for a gallon of paint.  I'm talking a Walmart battery and A Home Depot gallon of paint.  Nothing exotic.  WTF?  retailers are all blaming inflation.   BS!

Everything in the reviews about them is true - they're something special. Super stable and don't have any feel of a kick like I found in other graphite iron shafts but the ball still feels like it's coming out of a slingshot off the clubface and produces a gorgeous ball flight. 

 

Till the $-Taper Lites, I'd always played heavier shafts so if anything, I almost wish I'd have gone with the 125s through the set instead of just my wedges.

I see the 125 only comes in X. Apparently Fuji’s reasoning was that the X and the S in the 125 woulda been too similar to justify having both. Seems a lil odd to me 🤷🏼‍♂️

and I’m not sure that polite and sincere go together in a sentence.  🤣.  Can one have both ? I mean occasionally ? sure. But as a rule , I don’t trust anyone who claims both all the time.  We all spare others feelings at times.  And that’s insincere.  And we all step on toes at times.  And that’s impolite - but fun.  Head scratcher it is.

Have one ~10 min away from the house. It’s one of those that is also a KFC. It’s similarity to the one I visited w/the car hop service as a kid, starts and stops w/the name. IMO all fast food at the A&W, BK, Wendy’s, Hardee’s/Carls Jr etc. level is a mere shadow of what it once was and complete trash.

I’m not sure blade. I’m not even sure what fancy grammar words even make up a correct, complete sentence 🤷🏼‍♂️ The “king of the run-on sentence” has been thrown my direction more than once.

Only one I ever saw and ate at down south was around Spartanburg or Greenville SC. @bladehunter can maybe shed some light on that. I do remember the burger was good but not as good as the Beacon or Sugar and Spice in Spartanburg
