So we did get 🍔 yesterday and they were…acceptable 

 

Bacon was awesome, the beef very good, cooked a nice medium rare but not much of a sear 🫤and could have been more hefty, cheddar very nice, bun meh. Fries 🍟 pretty decent 

 

The quest for a fantastic burger in NYC continues, just can’t seem to find dope 🍔 in this town

I’m going to overnight him some Ground Bison.  Olive oil in a skillet.  A little dry rub with salt and garlic on both sides.   , and a good sear on both sides.  Then reduce heat and cook til internal is medium …. Vidalia onion slice.( one thin )   Dukes mayo on both  sides of the bun.  Bun should be poppy seed .    And off the block crunchy white cheddar.   Many brands of this.  Just look for a long aged white cheddar. Last I bought claimed to be “ cave aged “. 🤣.   It will be crumbly.  Not soft.   Much better flavor.  Top it with a good homemade pickle or two.  And if you must.  Ketchup or mustard. Never both.

Remember what happed to me over there when I quoted Mr Palmer about " swing your own swing"? The self appointed guru said it was not correct. I asked him how many PGA Tour events had he won? Oh the fireworks started and they followed me over to the Grille and tried to stir stuff up. Of course the self appointed king of golf instruction shot +39 in the US Senior Open and blamed it on Food Poisoning. I did not and still do not buy that line

Used to go to parties with a six of tall boys in a gym bag 🤣 If we could afford it! If not…be drinkin like Milwaukees Best 😳

 

One time our town cops 👮 pulled us over, open the trunk and steal our beer. Well, actually, they stole just the Budweiser and left us the Milwaukee Best 🤣

Actually I always check to see if the bar has any of these new milk nitro stouts. Those are off the charts, rich and got like coffee and even hint of dark chocolate flavor insane.

No way, I'd never go to Ireland cause their beer sucks. I remember the first time I had a Guinness. I had to go outside and smoke a half a pack of cigs to get the taste out of my mouth. Nastiest crap I ever tasted. Tried it several times after that, same result.

Hey.  The airport is 27 minutes away.  Grilles by the pool , watermelons grow by the pool in a few months, bball court is behind the pool and the fridge in the shop isn’t  too far away …. We ain’t got to go nowhere.
