Seriously, really happy the knee and swing are good, maybe the lack of "polish" will allow you to just let it fly! Guessing the short game and putting are in good shape? Saw a couple pretty handy shots in the Scotland vids.

This will be much more interesting to follow than anything else going on in golf the next few weeks!

Good luck Monte from someone who was fortunate to make if all the way thru in fall of 92 (3rd in Regionals and 7th in Finals) - fully exempt for 93 season. Of course, what you get out of qualifying is a lot different now than back then. Did not keep my exempt status for 94 thru 97 (Monday 4 spotters and mini tours those years) but did finish 13th in late 97 which got me in 17 events in 98. Made thru Sectionals every year and only missed 1 cut at finals.

Called a day after 6 years of "tour golf" and worked for Softspikes for 10 years after that.

Loving the swing Monte, looks gold.

Also love how the giant basket throws the perspective and makes you look 3 foot tall

Your move looks very controlled, less prone to some of those right misses with driver, but still lots of speed.

Keep putting driver swings like that on the ball and you can make some magic happen with wedges and short irons from the fairway. Are you still struggling with getting steep on short irons and wedges?

No. Longer clubs have been the issue.

Monte, how difficult was it for you to be your own swing coach before flightscopes and myswing graphs?

Monte, wish you success with your Q school attempt.

I know you are a big hitter, is there some sort of secret when it comes to your hips through impact? It looks like everything turns until near impact, then the hips seem to pause while the arms go way through impact, and then the hips get almost dragged to continue the turn. Is this something you want students to work towards, or is this something you do for yourself?

He's discovered a new kind of "lag"!!!!

Actually, I kind of see what you are suggesting on the video but I don't think things are moving like I'm "seeing" them move if that makes any sense.

Those thing should help a lot. 2D video tells some lies.

A lhell of a lot less difficult than it would be for amateurs?

Have a nice week?

Richard - Been out of action since early August with a bad case of Sciatica. Doing PT, Chiropractor, and different Meds with no change (even had some acupuncture last week). Going for two steroid injections this week - one on Tues and one on Fri. Supposed to hit Pinehurst next week for 4 days of golf - hope the steroids will do the trick.

Sorry for the OT post.

All the best to Monte.

I cant be alone. I think Danielle Kang is smoking hot.

Monte - After a short (but disruptive) break, my ball flight is all out of sorts. My swing feels fine. Do you think its a bad idea keeping the swing, but adjusting grip to fix the issue. It seems like my grip/club face at address is the first thing to go, not my swing like most.

PS. In need of an AZ November/December group outing like a couple years ago.
