Just announced that Tiger is not playing next week or the Honda. This really is bad news. Hard to find any positive about Tiger as far as golf game goes.

I agree. Since the tournament now involves his foundation, I think he'll tee it up (at least on Thursday).

I'll never understand why he tried to embark on a 4 out of 5 week schedule that included multiple cross country flights plus a trip to Dubai. Seems like he should have waited for the FL swing and made sure not to play back to back weeks until he knew for sure he could take make it through even 72 holes over four days. All hindsight now but it's disappointing nonetheless.
