W/S Tour Blades for 6 yrs. They are not too bad for wear, the irons still stick when hit decently. I have a new backup set waiting in the closet, so I will be playing these for another decade! By then I'll be bunting my 8i 100yd...

I played Red Eye 2s from '91-'98

Then ONE ROUND w/ TA 845s before they were stolen outta my Ford Bronco II

 

Then the wasteland...

 

Played a mixed bag of used clubs (Cougars, TMs, Pings) from about 2003 until 2010 when I gave up the game.

 

Returned in 2013 first with a set of Spaldings.

Found a set of Red ISI-Ks, and then found my old Red Eyes. One year.

Zings for another year. And that brings up to my current set of King Cobra Carbon CBS that have stayed in the bag for about 8 months now...

 

And am now tired of the cast 'clicks' so am about to be united with a gloriously gently used set of CB2s I found on the web. I hope the forged feel will last as long as the grooves will allow.

3 seasons for me. Picked up a set of 2013 X-Forged from CPO that were mint 3 years ago. Flirted with buying a new set, but honestly I haven't hit anything better. My lie angles are perfect. My irons are still in very good shape as well, although I practice a lot. If I could find another set in mint condition, I might buy a back up set.

... I payed Fly Z+ and 588 TT's last season and bought a set of Srixon 545's. By the time I re-shafted them with Recoil 95's I was diagnosed with a torn labrum in late Sept 2016. So I have not even played them yet.

I've tried dozens of irons but since 1996 my trusty Mizuno MP-29's (rifle shafts) always end up back in my bag. I know i'm giving up at least one club in distance but I don't care, I know where they go.

 

Mizuno T Zoid Pro's over 20 years, always end up back with them each year after an affair with the latest sexy 'sort'. This year I am selling them and bought Callaway Apex which are so easy to hit and so forgiving.

3 years. TM Rocketbladez. I've tried several others, but none worked significantly better, or felt as good on pure strikes, so they stay in the bag, in spite of the cheesy name.

 

3rd year with rocketbladez tour, I will switch every 4 years or so...

You've got me. Only 17 years with my MP-33. DGS-300. Never left the bag. As you say, weak lofts compared to current blades, but the number on the sole is just a number. My 2 iron is weaker than most 3 irons these days.

I have played my 716CBs for over a year now, and they are my favorite iron I've ever played with - great distance control and feel, with better distance than expected and a beautiful look as well. Also, they're somewhat forgiving for a PCB especially towards the toe which is nice.

Ever since the G25s came out. Before that, there were my i5s I played so much I sent them back to Ping to be refinished. There was about 2 weeks between those where I had a set of i20s, but they didn't last very long.

I have 3 years which is somewhere between 300-400 rounds on my X2 hots. I have a custom fitting scheduled for the first weekend in May. Will be my first time getting fitted for clubs. Hopefully whatever I get fit for will last a bit.
