Where can I get a 7tx and 9tx?!...I have the 7x and love it

Wrong, read my posts and call Fujikura Tech support. The 7x 7-x and 7tx are different shafts. Hitting them side by side on a launch monitor makes this pretty obvious.

Can you tell us the difference between the black 6x and Black 6tx for example? Also could one get this through a charter dealer? I love my 8tx in my fairway and want a 6tx for my driver, but would prefer not purchase items that are being sold against your wishes or from individuals not licensed to do so.

 

They are the same shaft just labeled differently. Apologies for the confusion. TX was not intended to be retail release for 60g.

The 7x and 7tx are the same shaft. I received a 7tx as part of the review team. I asked about it because I surely thought it was too much shaft for me and I was reassured that it is in fact the same shaft.

 

Who did you ask? Someone in the sales/marketing department (like the rep who posts here) or someone on the technical support team? There are conflicting stories coming out of Fujikura on this. I’m inclined to trust my source (a prominent member of the technical team at Fujikura) on this matter first and foremost, especially when it directly correlates with my experience and what the numbers say when analyzing the shafts side by side.

Well the fujikura Atmos Black 7x just kicked out the Tensei ck pro white out of the bag... playin a M2 9* .. has it on the skytracks and it mite be the straightes shaft I have seen ,, not only for me but a couple of friends as well ,, we hit about 5 or 6 diffrent set ups and Atmos was so consistent,, low spinning .. longest drive for me was 305yd but was consistently 278 to 285 ,, I probably should be using the 60x or 60s but sometimes a good deal is hard to pass up..

I’m getting ready to try a atmos blue 8x tipped 1 inch in my 16 tour issue m1. Loved my atmos black in my 5 wood so giving the blue a try and liked a previous 80g shaft in my driver

Installed and ready to go on Wednesday. Had it tipped 1" like the driver. Feels really good.

Haven’t had that happen with the Atmos, buttttt.....that DID happen to my Tensei Blue just a couple of months ago, come to find out that alot of people are breaking their tensei’s right above the adapter

Pulled an adapter and installed a Titleist one. The shaft was fine with the ping adapter (as far as I know, hit it in a G400 a few times). First round with the Titleist adapter, I was putting a tee in the ground and leaning a little on my driver and the head snapped off. Never seen anything like it.

I snapped a Fujikura Pro XLR8 like that once. It was brand new, I’d just received it from my dealer with the tip installed and only hit a few balls. I sent a pic to my dealer and he and Fujikura quickly took care of me. I had a new shaft in hand shortly thereafter.

The G Ping adapters have a rubber ferrule. I noticed the cheap aftermarket Ping G ferrules from China, do not have that rubber ferrules. For a moment there I thought it was a Ping adapter involved. I did hear some Ping adapters snapping off at the top but that was with the OEM G30 ones, not a G. But yeah, that is very surprising. best of luck with this.

 

I am contemplating another ATMOS Black for my G400 Max head. I can't get that lovely Masters version anymore :(
