My limited edition atmos is still on my SubZero head. Now it's paired with the Srixon XV 5 ball. Been messing with my ball lately, went from E6 Speed, to the XV 4 and now the XV 5, just have to decide how much side/spin I want in my game to settle on the right XV ball.

 

Right now, my driver is the best its ever been - supreme confidence, Insane feel of power and distance. Even my worst strikes still gets out there ridiculously generous.

 

I had thoughts of going the G400 but the way I was hitting my SZ/Atmos/XV, that quell the urge.

I never tried the tour spec 8.3/9.3 but did previously have the Motore Speeder 8.2 tour spec hybrid shaft and feel they are very comparable (understanding the atmos black is heavier). My launch and spin numbers were very similar when comparing the old 8.2 to the new atmos black.

Thanks for the thoughts. I was actually wrong, they were the 8.8/9.8 respectively. We are both off with our decimals. Back to elementary lol

Same here - I've been tempted to test something else in the driver, but I've resisted the urge b/c it's not broke... like at all. So I won't fix it, no matter how much the WRX'er in me wants to.

If you're looking at that 80 gram weight, the Blue is probably closest but will spin less.

Is anyone playing the 8s in a driver? Do you compromise feel in the heavier weights? I swing around 105 so borderline between S and X.

Thanks for interest guys. We'll be posting specs on Monday, but the Patriot Edition is based on the Black launch profile, but has slightly softer tip flex for more feel of the club head and slight increase in launch. It sits between BLUE and BLACK spec wise, marginal differences.

completely brand new convert to Atmos. not even a shaft I had on my radar. it won out in a fitting at PING yesterday. played a round with it today and in combo with G400 is a winner. very, VERY, tight shot dispersion with it.

Just installed a red 6x in my epic 9* and saw an increase in carry over my current gamer. Tomorrow is my first round with it but I'm excited to see if the numbers I saw inside on the monitor will carry over to the course.

After seeing SwingBlues pics of his Epic w/ Seaon Opener Atmos I've can't stop thinking about this setup. I know it's silly to want a shaft just based on looks but everything else I'm reading makes me want to try it. If anyone has any leads on a Season Opener green atmos in 6s let me know!!
