Is it odd that I actually play better most of the time with blades? Seems like I focus more. With more forgiving clubs I just flail and expect the club to do the work.

yes they do but 100 mil dollars can really make one "say hey these arent that bad"

 

Also notice how similar they are to his Nikes which the callys were as well......

 

I am a mizuno fan for sure but anyone of those guys would dump em for TM blade and 100m dollars.....

Milling is more exact but way way more costly.....no way a procuction set will be milled

 

But you could certainly forge a block of steel and get it bigger than finish product and mill it from there i would imagine

It's easy to tell the difference on Rory's wedges. They say 'Milled' on them. My irons say 'forged'.

Two different things. Milling is just cutting of the metal. Like the grooves. Forging is actually making the metal itself.

Metal could be different since they can blend different metals into one. Weight, density, etc make up the feel.

No, he knew in advance and knew it was key to them signing Rory. The whole Rory deal came together so quickly (week after the Masters) that they hadn't planned on releasing the blade until Fall but had to debut it early because it's what Rory wanted and needed to sign a deal with them.

This is commonly done when making race engine components, take a forged billet block of steel or aluminum and machine it.

These comments kind of blow me away. Aren't almost all muscle backs very similar in looks. I mean you can only shape there muscle so many ways. It probably just happens to work best having all these muscle in the bottom half of the back of the club. You can find a muscle back from almost every company that has the same look. Minus Callaway since they are relatively new to the mb category.
