Love the tungsten in cavity idea. Probably similar to the Machine putter that raised the CG.

 

Lowers the CG. The CG is in the dead nut middle of the face. Doesn't affect moi much because the weight is not being taken out of the heel and the toe. It is being taken out of the hosel.

Just tight with them. Worked at Nike from 03-05. Now I teach at the facility adjacent to the old oven. Lady who owns place I teach at also owns oven building and Nike leased it from her.

John mentioned the same thing while I was there during the putter prototyping stage, to have the adjustability of loft and lie independently without changing the original intent/design of the putter.

Normally putters are bent to desired loft which sometimes makes the face look rolled. This avoids that

These look really good. I have a set of VR pro combo CBs, and they are the best that Nike ever made imo. Best of luck to these guys. Wedges really look good.

Received some great customer service from Artisan last night. I am luckily receiving a custom 0117 putter and had a question. I sent John a text late yesterday afternoon thinking I would receive an answer until at least Monday. Not only did I hear back from him but we ended up having a conversation about the putter that ended around 8:30 pm eastern time which I'm sure are well past his work hours. First class operation!

The head shape sure looks a lot like my favorite 'old' wedges ... my nike Blue line Duval wedges in raw finish.

...along with fact that PROTOTYPE putter medallion gapping issue has been covered extensively in thread before and it serves no productive purpose to continue bringing it up. Those who have held subsequent product in hand were highly impressed with performance and appearance.

Surely some people have tried them and can comment. I can't imagine it would have too much impact on the feel. I think 95% of that comes down to material of the face and the face milling.

I don't mean this as a personal dig at Nike or any diehard Nike fans, but maybe if Nike would have released wedges like these maybe they'd still be in the golf club business.

 

I agree I had a few nike clubs. I had the Vr LE driver and 3 wood and as well as the Vr pro combo irons. ( wish i never sold them). But when Nike came out with the blue driver heads and the engorged wedges I lost interest in them

Latest putter post looks significantly better regarding the medallion for sure. Still not my favorite look with the high toe but fit and finish look good. And if it feels good and rolls well I’ll definitely give one a shot.

Great looking putters. I would move the number on the sole of the putter though, to keep the face as clean as possible. Also, does anyone know why the have a small dot under the hosel?

I believe the dot is there as a part of the connection between the neck of the putter and the putter head itself.
