LMAO that so many people think Canadians are so polite and nice.

I love Brooke and Brittany's arrogance and both snubbed the Hawaiians & Lotte and did not participate in the winner's hula dance tradition thing on the 18th hole.....both just stood there and giggled. :taunt:

I'm confident if Brooke wins the ANA she'll just dip her toe into Poppie's Pond ala Pat Hurst.

Impressive win by Brooke M. Her putter looked so much better, other than the one pull on the 12th hole. Her driving was simply outstanding, as was the driver off the deck on the par 5 14th. Gutsy. With her 6th win she's definitely stepped into the upper echelon on the tour.

'Very un-Inbee like for Inbee. She was obviously in a position where she had to press the final few holes, but still very uncharacteristic of her. The #1 ranking was within her grasp.

OK, we all know the answer, but I'm going to ask again for emphasis. Why all the coverage of Michelle when she's nine shots off the lead? Lindy finished 3 shots better. Could we have seen a few of her shots please?

I think a large part of the Michelle Wie coverage on TV is partly because she is a native of Oahu and has a high media profile in both the United States and South Korea. The Lotte company that sponsors the event is from South Korea and they had enough influence with the LPGA to have the tournament finish on Saturday, which is Sunday in South Korea (or so that as how it was described by the hosts on Golf Channel).

Rightly or wrongly, Wie still has the largest presence and profile of the LPGA players ... but I am glad that Brooke won!

did I hear the announcement correctly ? .. there is 6 So Young Lee's Jeongeun Lee on tour

There is currently one JEL on the LPGA (5), and one on the KLPGA (6), but there have been four previous players with the name on the KLPGA and LPGA. I expect to see Lucky 6 on the LPGA no later than 2020.

1) 'Very un-Inbee like for Inbee. She was obviously in a position where she had to press the final few holes, but still very uncharacteristic of her. The #1 ranking was within her grasp.

2) Why all the coverage of Michelle when she's nine shots off the lead? Lindy finished 3 shots better. Could we have seen a few of her shots please?

1) The dominant 2013 dominant putter from In Bee has left the station and never to return....ok...maybe once in a while.

2) Come on Arg...you know better...Wiesy is the LPGA's Eldrick...and BJ will never be denied to demand anything he wants from Golf Channel...I wouldn't be surprised if BJ wasn't the Chief Sales Strategist in the sales calls when Golf Channel was selling their coverage feed to the Korean networks.

Oh ya...BJ's Golf Channel contract also states that he and Bo will be cameo'd on TV a minimum of 20 times during a 72 hole event.

Heck...I never knew what Paul Creamer looked like until Paula's 6th year on tour at her USWO win at Oakmont in 2010...though that was NBC who showed him on TV.

Nice to hear that Dave Henderson and wife are staying home often now (except for the big events) and letting Brooke and Brittany do their own thing on tour.

Good find...they talked about this when both 5 & 6 played in the recent ANA.

The only criticism of 5 & 6 is I don't think they wear knee highs...so for good reason...you exclude them in your fashion folder. :taunt:

I think 1,2 & 3 are the retired ones.

Lucky 6 has made a few appearances in the fashion thread under the name Jeong Eun Yi, which is an alternate Romanization of Lee.

Congrats to Brooke on the win, she showed some mental toughness in winning when her putter left town on Friday and just used one of the most complete and dominant ball striking displays to get the victory. Brooke is my favorite LPGA player, followed very closely by Sei young KIm (they're basically the same player lol) but her win today has really upset me. I usually put 20 bucks on Brooke at my online sportsbook each event she plays. I forgot the Weds start and didn't make my usual Brooke bet and she goes out and wins, she's usually around 20-1 to 25-1, so it cost me 400 to 500 bucks lol

But other than that I'm happy for her lol

OK....maybe a few times...she pales to SKY, Sharon and Smile Candy in fashion appearances and likes.

This is too in-speak for me. I have no idea who SKY, Sharon or Sky Candy are. Anyway, I love sugar plum, bat-pants and Mary better.

Nice win Brooke. That was rough watching her come in yesterday, almost looked scared to putt.

I love watching her wind up and smash that tee ball.

I kept waiting for someone to come and get her. She was just far enough ahead for when she made mistakes they didn't hurt her. The other girls just couldn't catch her. A well deserved win and very well played.

Tough crowd over at the Rolex Rankings, Brooke moves from 14th to 13th. Counting on the 2 year cycle that the rankings are based on Brooke currently has 5 wins and around 20 top10, Shanshan Feng and Ariya J. are the only 2 players who match or beat that over the 2 year period. That divisor will get you every time lol :taunt:

She plays a ton of events, probably more than any other player. The rankings sure appear to favor players with a lighter schedule.

50 seems to be the optimum number and the one most top end players try stay around, that's 25 events a year out of 30 something. Ariya Moriya and Brooke seem to be the only ones who like to play lots of events. Jin Ko plays lots too, but will be interesting to see if it continues now that she's a full-time LPGA member

Did I hear correctly that Brooke is only 20 and now has 6 wins?? That's gotta be an LPGA record for most wins before the age of 21, right?

No, not even close. Lydia had her 6th LPGA win at age 17. The first two were as an amateur. She had her 6th win as a professional at age 18. She had 14 wins before the age of 20.

Lydia turns 21 one week from today, so a win this week would give her 15 wins before the age of 21.

They grow up fast.
