Nice driver 198 gram So?

 

I want the head 210 grams with 44 3/8 inches length shaft.

My head weighs in at 192. With the stock length EF HC Blue 65 and stock grip it swingweights out to d2. You can purchase weights, but the heaviest from Srixon is 12g. Mine came with an 8g weight in the head.

Got out on the course today. Driver was my strong suit today. The flight is great a nice penetrating launch. I was surprised to how far my misshits went. Overall I am really liking the combo and can’t find anything to complain about at this time.

Took this driver to the course yesterday. Performed great. Hit a ball on 18 to a place I had never been. A good place, not that other place beyond the white stakes.

Has anybody here who has owned an M2 compare launch loft for loft? Game a 9.5 and I'm pretty sure I need a bit more loft now that I've gone from about +5 AoA to 2-3. However, if the Z785 launches a touch higher, I may not need it.... Just wondering because the 10.5* head may be delayed.

I ordered mine with a PO on 9/13 and it arrived this past Saturday, 9/22.

 

Only disappointing thing is that I ordered it 1/2 inch short playing at 44 3/4 and swingweight is too light....right around D0. Gonna have to add some lead tape until I can get it hotmelted.

i sent mine back , great club , it actually on great hits beat my gamer but the only small problem was i hit more fairways with my gamer and i really think its the black shaft, it is so good to my feel but it seemed to hurt me when i didnt feel like going after it , meaning i think i got used to my 565 fuji so long and it is looser so when i want to put a fade around a dog leg it is easier for me to do and i can for the life of me get that feeling for tthis shaft, but the head is beautiful but for my money i had to see it beat my gamer in every way, and it did until i tried to control it , lol, but i still think so far it is the best offering right now i hit it agains the new titleist offerings and it was for my swing , i would have liked to play with shafts but there is no where near me where i could do that and i already had 550 in this driver so i didnt feel like experimenting too much , i did hit it agains the m3 and they were comparable so i never liked that head to my eye but now i have one on the way lol yes im a club ho

This was extremely difficult to read. I'm surprised you made it that long without accidentally hitting the period key.

 

So are the other upcharge shafts coming back or are they gone for good?

Hybrid I chose the miyazaki so that was custom and that is supposedly shipping on 9/27. Overall not really pleased with the process as the 60 day playability guarantee isnt going to mean anything to me when its going to be very cold in the midwest soon.

Agreed. Im thinking about cancelling to be honest. Im quite content with my driver setup (see sig) and just wanted to test run this with the 60day thing, which as you said, wont really be that beneficial.

This is the exact reason I ordered along with the free shaft upgrade. Srixon does not have that big of following so Im not sure what they will resale for next Spring as that is realistically when I would get around to selling it if I do not like it.

Is it 60 days from purchase or 60 days from receipt? If they are taking 4 weeks to ship you the thing.... that seems a little unfair to me. I can't decide if I'm going to keep a driver based on just a few practice sessions. I'd want that full 60 days.

Well thats at least a little more palatable. My guess is we wont see the drivers until mid-Oct, which can either be 80 or 30 around here. I can remember sweating my butt off taking the kids trick or treating and I can also remember having the firepit out front in my snow gear at Halloween. Just never know.

Now the hard part, waiting :(

 

Were you able to order the extra weight off the site when you custom ordered the driver? I was persuading the site and didn’t see anywhere you could ask for custom swingweight. I can’t control any driver consistently over 44.75”

Talked to Srixon. Got the run around again. Was told the PO was on backorder until 10/17 now. I asked how people that ordered 2 weeks after I did (I ordered 8/28) are receiving theirs and dude said that you all must be mistaken on your order dates...smfh???

 

In my mind, Srixon has officially screwed the pooch on this one.

Just reached out to the shop I ordered from, was told a few days ago it was a 10/1 ship for my PO 70TX order....if it's gonna be 10/17 I'll cancel or change to one of the HZRDUS HC shafts if it speeds it up at all. Very seriously pondering picking up the F85 and H85 as well, but not ordering until I get some confirmation on how long the driver is going to take.

I ordered through a site sponsor (DD) with the instructions I wanted a heavier weight since I was cutting 3/4 off. I hope the 10 is enough and don't have to get the 12 or add lead tape.
