Was psyched to see this afternoon that my buddy JJ qualified for the ARCA race tomorrow at Daytona. ARCA is a couple of steps below Nascar but he builds his cars/engines in his garage from the ground up, has a regular joe job just like a lot of us. He runs a lot of local races in Virginia during the season but mostly builds cars/engines for other teams.

 

Good stuff. Hope it ends better for him than last time....

I can tell you guys that for some of us the downward trend begins at 50. I am now 51. I feel like I've been in a car accident after every round of golf. I was playing 36 holes five or six years ago with no problem.

 

I am in very poor physical shape, and that is obviously not helping. As "Little O" says, "Dad, if You want to continue to compete, you're going to have to make physical fitness as important as golf."
