Folks just need to realize that Scotty is just mailing it in now. He doesn’t seem to give a flip about his OTR stuff. I’m a big Scotty fan, but his select line has not been as good as previous models, imo.

He updated the select line this year, so you shouldn't see an updated squareback or fastback in 2019, that'll be 2020. We should see an update on the Futura line in 2019 though. I expect very little change again. As someone mentioned, Scotty won't offer a slant neck mallet for OTR models. He saves that for his premium line.

All I can say is don't expect much. New color, new font location/design, that's probably about it.

Man ...

It feels every putter maker is blowing past SC. His tour stuff is pretty sweet, but I haven’t found a reason to purchase any OTR stuff since 2012 Black Mist line.

Lefties...the biggest collection of whiners in history. 2% of the golfing population, but want 100% of the releases. It’s business.

The good ole privileged outlook on things. It is a business, but it does suck not getting clubs that actually fit your stroke OTR.

Wait. I'm left handed. Did not realize there was a choice involved. Well that settles it. I guess i'll just will myself to play right handed. Thank You. Wish I would have thought of this earlier!!

I’m left handed and play right...you should’ve done the same...then you wouldn’t be part of 2% of the golfing population and begging for every release from mfg’s to be a certain $$$ loser.

thats ridiculous and just rude. Try hitting a ball left handed and get back to me. BTW I throw and write right handed and can’t switch hit in baseball and can’t swing a club right handed. Tried putting right handed and failed miserably. And I know your just trolling anyways but the number of true LH individuals is a considerable percent higher then 2. There are left hand people that play right hand and right hand people who play LH. Up north the LH number goes way up.

Ok, you’re right. It’s 5%... let’s make every model available to the statistical anomalies.

So you say 5 but out of all hockey players the number is 60 plus percent LH. 25 percent of professional baseball players are left handed and are a desired commodity. These are athletes who play a certain handedness and dominate in their respective sports. So is it possible more people play golf lh then you would think?

I know this is a crazy thought, but I Googled it. Golf is dominately right handed, that’s just a fact. OEMs are going to produce product that sell. Whether you consider that to be trolling is of ZERO concern to me.

PS: You’re using Ping product...they actually do cater to LHers, what’s the issue???

So no one wants Scotty to make ever putter LH. We just don't want the same old not so popular models. Titleist is one of the best supporters of lefties. So is PING. Callaway is for the most part. Taylor made makes almost everything LH. Golf is a sport where professional golfers are groomed in states where weather is better then nominal all year round. A hockey player can play indoors despite inclement weather, be LH, and make it to a professional level. So yes most professional golfers, the ones that have a chance to be great, who play all year round, make it to the PGA. Last time I check those players don't even pay for their equipment. Its the rest of the Amateur population, ones that survive less favorable weather conditions, that pay for these companies doors to stay open.

Go back and read through all my BST's and threads. I was the most loyal fan to Titleist. beyond a fanboy. Left because of this very issue. Even have a great relationship with many people who work at Titleist. I'm just tired of buying Newport 2's.

How is 5% of the golfing public paying for company’s doors staying open? That’s just delusional. You’re looking at this emotionally, I’m looking st this from a business perspective...it doesn’t equal dollars to cater to LHers...otherwise they’d do it!

If these companies make almost everything LH the number of Left handers are higher than 5%. Keep on trolling. You make no sense but all is good. I thought the world was only made up of 5% bullies. Obviously that statistic is wrong as well. Unfollowing topic and going over to buy a Toulon Atlanta.
