That putter grip once contained magic. Now it appears to contain years of sweat and grime. Someone should remind Jordan that he was excellent with the putter even when it had a new grip.

 

Also, from 915D2 to TS3 is quite a difference in ball flight and spin.

That 915 will stay in the bag until it cracks, head flies off, etc. Didn't see him over 170MPH in ball speed at the Sony which was a little surprising. Hope he can get back on track, love seeing him in top form.

Sometime last year he said that he doesn't like to switch when things aren't going well. Makes him feel like he's blaming the grip or something along those lines. I do imagine Superstroke will try to have him switch sometime soon though with their new line coming out in the near future.

Yeah its a classic driver for sure. The TS3 is just so damn good....

What’s the problem with the Putter Grip? If it feels good to him that’s all that matters.....

I use to have PX 6.5 in my wedges. Switched to s400. Very happy with my switch. Always think about going 6.0 in the wedges.

He’s changed the putter grip fairly often. But also practices a lot

What’s the problem with the Putter Grip? If it feels good to him that’s all that matters.....

That’s the thing. I’m not sure it does feel good to him. I’d bet he’s too worried to start changing things while in this slump, when maybe all he needs to jumpstart his putting is a fresh grip.

Interesting that he said back in November that the TS2 was not spinning enough for him but he has gone to use the TS3 which I understand will spin less than the 2.

He used to play 6.0 straight through, now with 6.5 in irons and 6.0 wedges. That's not an uncommon setup.

Graphite is 3 iron, 4 iron is PX.

Eh. I’d keep using it. Just depends on the situation. A new grip never made a putt go in.( not when swapping same model to same model ) Just a placebo effect. Probably has finger marks worn in. I actually hate to change wedge grips for the same reason. I wear thumb and forefinger marks into my grips. Easy to get used to that feel and hate to change.

I know this might be off topic, but can anyone explain what the dots are in the middle of the 3 on the TS3? I've seen them with them and without dots. Just wondering what the difference is?
