I guess it was in the statement but that certainly wasn’t what I took from the interview.

 

Here’s the thing, though, he was clearly in violation of the rule as it’s written. Unless you’re rescinding the rule, how do you rescind the penalty?

Rickie doesn't look like he is going to miss any mid range putts at the moment. Just rolling them in from everywhere.

 

JT has done not too bad having been pretty awful for the first dozen holes. That he has played as badly as he has and looks like he will make it into the final group is a decent result.

Everything NBC Golf has done to ever grow the game was just destroyed by the Jacobsen tribute song.

 

Kidding. That was the perfect tribute song for a bunch of on-course old dudes to partake in. NBC Golf does need some youth on their broadcast right away. I give them credit for showing more golf shots than CBS, but it's time for some fresh voices. Azinger is a very nice addition, but he isn't necessarily young.
