I went to a Ping demo day on Friday and he didn’t have it... should be available on the 30th

> > > > > > > I'm a +2 and even though I'm getting older (39) my swing is pretty consistent day to day. That's one of the reasons I go to test clubs multiple times before I buy anything. The difference I was seeing I was experiencing was in the heads themselves. Same exact setup but I can tell when the ball is spinning out and my launch. The G400max is not my optimal head, I was fitted into a Callaway sub-zero 8 deg & a Ping g400 LST 8deg, those gave me my max distance but the G400max was the best for forgiveness which is why I use it. I was hoping the 410 was the in-between because I love Ping drivers.

> > > > > > Gotcha and 39 isn't old haha. Use what works and just wait for the new G410 LST. Gmax for me was too spinny and no more accurate than the LST so the choice was easy. Have you ever tried to go lower in loft and shorter heavier shaft?

> > > > >

> > > > >

> > > > > I tried shorter and heavier shafts, it’s just how inside my swing path is. Funny is I’m a better iron striker which is opposite of my aoa on drivers. The 410 is a great head, I dropped the max for a m5. I’m hitting it lower and longer, with just a little less forgiveness. I really miss the sound of the max though, I don’t like the thud of the m5 or the 400lst.

> > > >

> > > > Gotcha. I fight getting stuck inside which means my miss is a block or hook off the planet so the longer the length the harder it is to get back in front of me. I'm at a 44.5" driver right now and my misses are much better than when I was at 45.25". Obviously, a miss is still a miss but the ball remains in our solar system haha.

> > >

> > > I feel your pain man, my miss my entire life has been the snap hook, followed by the high block. I've just given up on the fade. I've tried all kinds of lengths, for my swing being so inside it just doesn't really affect it. The longer shaft will actually make me delay a little bit to square and can help keep me from snapping it too bad, but I'm probably a very small outlier that does that.

> > >

> > > I'm going to try the 410lst when it comes up, I'm not happy with the m5 right now. I hit it a mile but it is just not as forgiving as the 400max. I like the extra 10-15, but not at the cost of forgiveness.

> >

> > You need to try The Callaway SZ Triple Diamond. Fade bias and amazing. It kicked out the G400LST after 2 years and i'm not even sure i'm going to worry about the G410LST now. It's that good especially for guys that don't want left.

I see no difference in forgiveness. Low strikes with the Triple Diamond are better though so maybe it gives it a slight edge.

Went for a fitting yesterday at True Spec, awesome experience! Awaiting a G410 10.5 with Atmos blue tour spec 6S shaft. Felt great and performed the best of all the wr tested. Coming from a 2016 M1 with HZRDUS black. Felt like I was hitting it too law and sure enough, I needed more spin than the 1500 - 1600 I was getting. 100-105 swing speed. Got to scratch this year so hoping for a plus handicap soon with help from the new Ping!

Still liking my 410 plus with the Fuji pro 2.0 TS 6x. Have it in the -1 loft and flat at 8*. Neutral weight setting. Over the winter I might dabble with the lst. But not sure it is worth it really. Get the same flight and forgiveness as my old 400lst. This thing is deep as well!

I'm loving my G410 plus. I always wished for a G30 that went as far as my Cally Epic. This is what the G410 is for me. Can't say enough about this driver. Absolutely love it, and have so much confidence in it.

Mine too. I have a digitally lofted head at 9 degrees with evenflow black. Honestly wish I would have went with a 10 degree digitally lofted head

Just took out my G410 10.5* driver with Tensei Pro White 60 yesterday and I never thought I would say this but the driver wants to go straight and straighter. I am hitting it further than I did with my TS2 9.5* w/ Tensei Pro White setup. Love this thing!

At those carry distances you NEED as much height as you can get. The Tensei Orange (stock) shafts are pretty high launch /spin. Even in the x flex one's I've tested they play fairly light (but that might actually be a benefit for you).

For reference I tested a 410 LST with the Tensei Orange 60x and I was getting around 12 degrees launch and 2700 spin. My 410 plus (high spin model) with the even flow 75x is more in the 11 degrees 2300 spin range (which is where I like it. ) Biggest difference is dispersion however. A heavier shaft (from my experience) increases consistency

Was fitted for the 9* Plus with stock Tensei Orange CK when I had a pretty bad slice but when I started to straighten out my drives my dispersion was inconsistent and it started to feel too whippy.

Was fitted again and it was suggested I go for the Evenflow Black but I opted out of that.

Through experimentation I ended up with a ATMOS Blue TS 6, and a lighter weight in the head to lower the swing weight. I found this combo to be fantastic for me.

That sounds right in my wheelhouse — less loft and a mid-launching shaft. Am a big fan of the Atmos Blue. Easy to play. Not too demanding and still performs on lesser swings. I’d like to try it in the Plus and LST heads.
