DJ keeps trying to get into contention and misses some short putts. If he can make this short birdie and the putter can get hot this weekend hopefully he can make things interesting.

 

Also, hopefully Tiger can make something happen on the last few and get some help from the field to drop cut to +2. I'd like to see Fleetwood finally have a great Saturday on a major to stay up there for Sunday finish.

Yeah, I watched him in person in Detroit, and he took a ridiculous amount of time on numerous shots. His ball striking is very impressive in person, but his routine is hard to watch.

I'm not sure he'd even want to play the weekend. What's the point? He's clearly not ready to go (whether it be mental or physical), and he has no ties to this course. Maybe he does but I can't imagine he cares about making the cut.

Still a lot of golf to be played but it's looking like at the end of the tournament the only multiple major winners in the last 5 years will be Koepka and Spieth. Kind of strange given all the hype some of the others got along the way. And of course Rory will be at zero in the rolling 5 year count.

Tiger should start playing tournaments only when the weather allows for it on his back, unless he can somehow get his back in better shape (doubt it). Even if that means skipping this one next year.
