Oh I hope you’re wrong but probably not. I mentioned his birdie putt at 18 looked weak and could be a bad sign for things to come.

 

Then again, another very likely scenario is that someone gets out to a 3-4 plus stroke lead and never comes back. (It surely won’t be Westy). That’s my greatest fear for the weekend. And that hurts us all.

My two favorite golfers under 50 are Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. It had to happen eventually considering how old they are getting, but this week will be a first. This is the first time both players have missed the cut in the same major.

I have to say that for me the style of most of the pants in general are terrible. Can't decide whats worse AS's pants or the skin tight ones that DJ and some are wearing.

Amen to that. A few guys out there have some style (Darren Clarke, Justin Thomas come to mind) but there are many examples of both extremes of bad!

Nice to see Lowry playing well, but he's dropping F-Bombs like he's dropping putts (Jay Townsend was on the end of one a few holes back). Can't imagine what he'll be like on Sunday if he's in the lead!

Dang. Streelman coming from waaaay back to get inside the cut line at E par. That dude is not afraid to take it low when he's feeling it. His problem is he just doesn't feel it enough. And -6 on this course is about as deep as anyone is gonna go this week.

Very true. These links courses are defended otherwise, even without wind. Undulating, raised greens, high rough, and strategically placed OB. Haven't heard any complaints from the players.

It would almost be better if he shot another 75+ round, as opposed to showing us that he only needed to shoot himself out of the tournament to play well under high expectations.

The fact that Rory has a legitimate shot to make the cut is absolutely insane. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but this is the one tournament where anyone who makes the cut has a shot to win due to weather; wouldn't that be some story...
