I have and I’ve hit them ....... much better feel and sound then the 700s ......... I also love the black finish ....... it makes them look thin from top

Are they smaller or same size as the G700 irons?

I haven't seen them in person but I thought I read on here that they are about the same size or maybe a touch smaller than the 700's but Ping found a way to increase their moi.

They're a little smaller. Think of what they did to the G410: Made them smaller, but packs in the technology to increase the forgiveness and MOI.

Never played Ping anything but I'm really getting interested in these. Did you happen to hit them on a launch monitor? I know the G410s still got great spin for the type of club they are. Am curious what spin numbers are for these. I know it's different for each player based on delivery characteristics, but I'm curious how these stack up to your averages.

The rep showed a proto that the owner hit. He didn't give me any data, but he said they seemed a little hotter and said it was harder to mishit than the G700s, but not impossible. But from the explanation of what they did, this will be another home run for PING. So until I go to Orlando, I won't be able to compare them unfortunately.

The black finish looks great. It's a very clean look. Same size. They eliminated the "PING" bar in the back of the cavity of the G700. They place some type of material inside the head to help with acoustics/feel.

Hopefully PING will have them available to hold and finally take pictures of here in a couple of weeks. But they looked a little smaller. Well, they do say that wearing black makes someone look thinner.

Not sure if this is public knowledge, but my local GG has a sign saying the G710's launch on 2/20 with presale starting on 1/20.

I can't imagine reason Ping would want to make the G710 of smaller head size than the G700.

Ping already has in their line the G410, i210, Blueprint, maybe the iblade as well, so already plenty of model offerings smaller in head size than the G700.

Sure does look like a PING iron with the adjustability notch. Hoping that the black finish is much more durable than the HydroPearl 1.0 finish that came on the original G700s.

I doubt that any black finish, after a dozen rounds of play, will wear better than the G700's finish. Specifically, after about a dozen rounds the HydroPearl has so many scratches that they blend in to each other, creating a uniform appearance. In contrast, black plating finishes on stainless always appear scratched and, or, reveal wear spots. On stainless (or titanium) the only durable finish is a paint, such as metal woods have, but paint it is not a practical finish for iron heads.
