I would like to know this answer as well. I've bought Gen2 irons, driver, 2 wood, hybrids and putter and didn't make the cut. Oh well, will be buying Gen3 Ts or the ST sooner than later. Just love the feel of their clubs.

I'm with Snagy2000 above. Bought 2 sets of irons ( Gen 1 and 2 ) now, a driver, a putter and set of Hybrids!

Read the thread. Instructions are there for PXG 1000.

Found these on ebay, looks like genuine gen3 0311T. But the offset, looks like far more than the previous 2 generations.

How soon before the Gen 2 prices get reduced? The Gen3 look awesome but I am not sure I can spend that much $$$ on irons.

There’s multiple heads offered in the 0311 lineup. The p is probably closest to the p790s. The gen2 imo feel softer and sound better than the original p790. I would imagine the same will be the case in the gen3.

What’s the Pxg 1000 people are mentioning? I’ve had several sets of the clubs, Gen 1 XF, Gen 2 0211 (love them), and the gen 1 0811x driver and Brandon putter.

Dispersion is not driven by club heads...Swing angle, AoA and face angle through impact zone drive dispersion...

Tried the PXG ST irons at club champion. Definitely not good enough to play blades. 6 iron with usual 86mph swing had the ball carrying 177 when it was hit flush. However an off hit went 20 yards shorter. I think the sweet spot is the size of a dime. I’ll most likely stick with my MP18 MMC.

With a supposed 86 mph SS should be hitting the 6 iron lot farther than 177

Total went 190. I only look at carry distance on track man.

Frankly I do but if they perform better may buy at some point the Gen3.

I am the minority that feels Gen1 looks better than Gen2. But the Gen3 look simply beautiful. I still game my Gen1’s combo of 0311XF and 0311’s. Is the P for gen3 same as the 0311’s? Or will they have a T, P, Standard, XF and extreme XF?

 

Also, for those asking about feel between PXG and p790. I’ve gamed both as the winner of the p790’s earlier this year. To me, both are nice but there is a significant difference in feel with pxg’s winning in that category. Distance was a tighter race though.

They won’t push G2 that low and cannibalize 0211 sales

Well they wont keep at $295 if Gen3 is $400-425

295 makes perfect sense.... 0211= 200, G3 =400. G2= splits the difference until supplies run out.

At my club they are doing a buy 6 Gen2 clubs and get a free PXG club and can exceed value of an iron (Driver, Wedge, fairway wood, hybrid, etc.). I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Gen2's instead of the Gen3's and getting a new 0811 driver free. Going to my Gen3 fitting on Wednesday, really curious at how the numbers compare between the two.
