I'm a little late to the discussion, but I recently switched from RTX4s to CBX 2s and the difference in my short game is night and day. I'm stopping the ball in spite of hard, winter greens and am much more consistent because of the forgiveness. Would definitely recommend.

For the MD4 and MD5 users out there, could you please comment on the stock TT Dynamic Gold Tour Issue s200 shaft (which I believe weighs in at 115g)? I’ve been playing xforged wedges for years with stock Dynamic Gold shafts at about 128g and I’m concerned the s200s might feel too light.

As an MD3 player, in my opinion, your concerns are valid. The Jaws felt like a noodle. They are great wedges, but it’s a really bad shaft for them if you like to use them at all on full shots or anything with a bit of power. Try the T20’s, if you love the MD series. Not kidding, they are the perfect evolution of the MD wedge even if not actually MD’s.

T20 == Mizuno wedge

As states above, T20 are Mizuno’s new wedge offering.

I have S400 in my MD3’s, but stock offering for Callaway is typically S200/Wedge Flex. Mizuno now offers S400 as their stock setup like Cleveland did with the RTX4’s.

My xforged wedges have s300s (a few have a shaft band that says callaway xforged wedge flex but I think that’s the same as s300). I know the s400 is heavier than the s300, but is it really that noticeable?

Depends on your load type, I am a hard transition shaft loader, it’s quite noticeable to me. Could mean nothing if your smoother.

Just got myself some Jaws in 54 and 58. Tested against Titleist and Cleveland and these were much better.

I bought an SM7 62-08 to match my 58-04. It can't replace my old Lovett as a sand club, though. Money wasted but it's not the first time.

Ive now had the T20's for about a month and I love the feel. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to play on real grass yet, just range time and indoor sim time.

I also have the Milled Grind 2 wedges and those are very solid. The T20's actually feel softer off the face. Leading in to the new year im pretty sure the T20's will be the front runners in the bag

So I fell in love with the feel of the t20 wedge. I ordered a 56 degree 10 bounce. After playing two rounds with the club I can not stop the ball in the green with my short Chips to save my life. My Cleveland CG10 56 degree is a 16 bounce and I can literally stop it on a dime. Do y’all think it’s the difference in the bounce causing this? I’m producing almost no spin with the t20. My Cleveland is a spin monster. I want a t20 to work because I love the feel of it.

I will have to try some of the T20's. Been hitting the Jaws 4's over the last year and looking to replace.

RTX4's are pretty hard to beat in my opinion. Had the Stealth Glide 2.0 all of last year which I liked as well but think I prefer the grind on the RTX4. Seems a little more versatile to me but they are plenty good players doing what they need to with the Glides out there.

Have some of the slate blue sm7s, but while they look awesome, I still prefer my sm6s

Just picked up rtx4 in 50, 54, and 58 low. Haven’t played them on course yet. But they felt good and the full swing distances were what I was looking for. For under $100 for tour issue shaft and raw finish wedges I don’t think they can be beat from a value perspective.

I have an old set of cleveland tour action 588's in my bag with DG wedge flex shafts in them. I tried a MD4 with an S200 in it, and immediately I noticed the difference in weight. On full shots i did not like it at all. On chip shots around the green it was a different feel and wasn't terrible, it seemed to help with keeping the club in sync with my arms and hands.

One other thing i noticed was my cleveland 56 was a 1/4 inch longer than the MD4 56.

CBX2s, just so forgiving compared to everything else. I tend to hit my wedges all over the face because I'm opening them up and hitting all kinds of shots. No loss of performance from toe or high-toe strikes because of the weighting tech.

I had a buddy that was playing tour wedges and wouldn't touch the CBXs, then I got him to try them and he switched right away. Unless you are a scratch or near scratch, the performance difference is VERY substantial.

Picked up a 50 and 54 T20 as well as the Glide 3 58 Eye2 grind last week. Spent the day Sunday hitting a bunch of shots and decided to swap the T20's for Glides in 50 and 54. They Eye2 is so easy to hit its scary. Decided the feel difference wasn't noticeable and wanted the cavity back in the full swing clubs. Pulled the grips last night and put pro soft inserts in all 3 so i can want to see how they feel now.

Had the Glide 3.0's but was getting really inconsistent distances on a plethora of shots. Back to the trusty SM7's!

I really like the 2019 PM wedges. I have 54 and 60. For me, they are very forgiving and at impact they just feel so solid. I addition, the high toes on these make pitching out of rough around the green, especially when it requires a high but short shot.

For me, Ping Glide Forged I really like the hydropearl finish both for looks and function. That said, I do wish Ping would offer a couple more bounce options.
