I watched the whole GF chat for the two replies. I read it they were were not stable enough and watch this space for a new shoe.

 

I would happily swap my 13 Zits(worn 8 times) for a Tour Premiere pair, always look out for them but never any deals on Ebay. I was the biggest what the hell are those when the TPs were launched too!

Were they? I ended up with the non-praying-hands tan snakeskin AM1s. They are tough to break in. The white leather is soft, but the snakeskin over the leather is pretty thick. Those TPs with the praying hands are awesome. Someone stole them, it's a shame for the seller though.

I think these are what players end up wearing that week, so entirely possible these shoes were worn at Augusta that week.

 

Personally there's a little something fishy about this to me. Used shoes, doesn't know what they are, yet priced at $120?? Seller still probably did quite well vs what they paid.

 

For some reason the green skins were eliminated entirely but the camo skins and hands weren't a problem? Here's what they originally should have been:

If I remember correctly. I think brooks wore the light tan snake skin tour premieres that year. I don’t remember seeing the green snake skin Atleast for the tour premieres or roshes, maybe am1

The entire line of green snake skins were cancelled and not given to players to wear was my understanding, they wore the light tans above instead. Rumor was that Augusta objected to something about them. Here's a pic from the 2019 thread. The Jordan XIs would have been epic.

 

Some have snuck out as I know somebody that bought a pair on one of the aftermarket sites, not even knowing the whole back story. So lucky.

Can anyone add information about the white staying clean in mud? Easily cleaned or will they stain? Some of the older shoes with similar look/material tended to stay stained no matter how hard you tried to clean them.

Just to be clear, I'm the one who said "fishy", and I don't think they're fake. To me the circumstances surrounding it and the story are "curious", and I'm not implicating the seller is fishy, just that the story would be typical for somebody trying to move something they weren't supposed to. Just my .02, and in the end it doesn't really matter. Cool get for somebody.

Similar to your thoughts, I was thinking insider who got a pair and goodwill was the cover story. Sorry for being off topic. I would still like to know if Nike has plans for a react and zoom shoe for the future.
