The 10th Mountain Division is near and dear to me. My great uncle served along with Pete Seibert (founder of Vail Ski Resort) before being deployed to Italy during World War 2. The 10th was a high alpine military warfare unit. Camp Hale was a training base near Leadville Colorado.

I bet he uses it for 1 or 2 weeks this year then gives it to his brother in law. Scotty usually puts the players name or initials on it, so I'm guessing Patrick intended on give him this putter all along.

Most flow necks are .25-.50 offset. The point of a plumbers neck is to get the full shaft pffset for right eye dominant players. Because both have similair swing from 5-430 toe hang.

Maybe @bladehunteror someone can chime in.....this is basically a Newport head with a flow neck. Correct? I prefer the Newport head to that of the Newport 2 but they don’t offer flow neck in that model. Thinking of getting mine altered.

Right.  It’s the 009 shape which is 99% like the current Newport shape. If being technical the cavity area is different. But not by a lot.  
 

contact Tom slighter and send him the pic of reeds putter.  He can add that neck.  Or a pipe neck like my putter has. Difference being ones Round and one is flat on sides.    His work on Cameron refinishes is literally as good as Cameron’s shop.

Sorry.  I’m not sure what he’s up to.  But I never had any issues before.     I do know that guys like he and Lamont get super duper busy at times.  Not that the excuse works , as even if it’s the case , he’s likely too busy to do it.  So no go either way.

I did send Lamont @golfluvzmean email as well. Don’t think he still does that type of mod work but with him here in town figured I would ask. Met him a few years back at his previous location in town. Very nice guy.

I forgot you were local to him.  
 

 

yea. I don’t think he does too much work on other Brands now.  He stays busy.  But you never know what might happen if you walked into his shop.  There’s no nicer man on this site I can tell you that.  If you can’t get along with Lamont.  It’s you.   lol.

My bad...to set the story straight Tom did reply yesterday  but it went to my Spam file.
