7.3 - i've been gaming a circa 2002 MacGregor 1025M's half set or PCB Tours (98 i think) for full bag, both with more modern kbs tours. non-confirming box grooves but idc i'm not competing.

I've played blades or players cavities my whole life - have tried to change but i just can't get used to anything chunky and modern. could probably benefit from more forgiveness, but the tradeoff of better turf interaction and "omg this club looks pretty" is worth it.

6.7 and playing the 2019 Cobra King Forged, all CB 5-W with a forged tec 4i. They don't offer a ton of help, but for my usual thin miss they are not too penalizing. They get through the turf with ease and they feel amazing.

Found my way back to my Ping S55s. I played them up until 2017 when I bought into the p790 hype. Played them for 2 seasons and loved the forgiveness and distance. However, after really starting to strike the ball well I noticed some weird inconsistency. 9i would play 150 all day then have a rando 170 flyer once every 8-10 shots. So I found myself dusting the S55s off. I couldn't be happier with a consistent 145 9i.

Back to my Nike VR Procombos (2011) mid year and not looking back. handicap had crept up to 9 and dropping quickly. Now sitting at 5. It is like playing with an old friend. They are also damn attractive too! It all started with a Golfwrx article and thinking back to playing with them from years before. What do you know.

Completely agree. I really haven’t noticed a loss of distance but have seen my dispersion become much better. That, and they feel sooooo much better.
