Oh man! GolfWrxer of the year! You are 2020 when it comes owning GD shafts. Haha. Good stuff.

TP still sounds good to me. VR didn’t like much after all. IZ was pretty good. DI is amazing in my 3 wood. TP could be money in a low launch,

low spin head.

Just got the DI 7x put into my 3 wood TSi2

I am currently using TP in my driver and DI in my fairway woods.

I think TP is a perfect for a driver (or even fairway) if you are looking for lower launch/spin compared to DI.

You can feel the TP kick but doesn't kick as much as the DI.

Very stable and accurate (like most Graphite Design shafts) and have had no issues with this shaft at all.

Also I feel more of the swing energy is transferred to the ball when struck as I have gained distance compared to my previous stock Tensei AV Blue.

I just got the DI put into my 3 wood an was looking in the TP for my driver which is the TS4.

What is your SS?

For whatever reason the GD family has a spot in my heart and in the bag

AD TP , for a 2016 shaft , I think its something special for the player that fits its profile - Med launch and low spin, very stable.   Coupled with a AD DI 9x in my 3w , it just feels like coming home for Christmas.

the Ventus, whatever they put in the water works , the BLk 6x , all the feels and performance of a equivalent shaft at 10% less shaft weight.   The red 9x is ad di 9x on the Barry bonds program.

The difference , i probably like the little heavier weight of the TP  in the driver shaft , helps me with control , and the slightly lower torque #’s of the GD family.   Also the Ventus Red 9x is SUPER stable , but not as easy to send a moon ball on call vs the AD DI .  the AD DI 9x is slightly heavier than its Fuji bag brother 9x Red.

while I like a little lighter  shafts as I eclipse 40 yrs old, something with the heavier feel shafts that i think actually helps me swing a bit faster - all mental

I wish I still had access to trackman to validate what I see on course.

Ventus red , I prob like better than the addi , solid and accurate

toss up is still ad tp 7tx vs VB 6x , don’t get me wrong both phenomenal

got them both on trackman

ad tp lower spin by 300 rpm or so

launch characteristics similar

feel goes to the Ad tp

again like the VR the VB is a hair more accurate / stable for this golfer

Loved the TP in several different drivers. It plays pretty close the the Ventus TR Blue I have now. I could easily go back to the TP.

How many are still playing the GD AD TP?

Me. Can't seem to get rid of it in some shape or form. I did just kick it out of the driver but it's now in my 3 wood for testing against a GP.

I also just re-ordered a driver with one from Callaway that will be here later this week just to have a spare.

It's still so good. 5 wood for me right now. Thinking about one for my 3 wood. Possible that TP will be the next shaft that GD updates after the VF release.

Gamed IZ in S for years, need a bit more tip stiffness for my swing/delivery and grabbed a TP 6X recently when Cally had the on sale for new Paradym builds. Basic EI similar of the two shafts, but TP games for me bit less loose feeling, tip stiff.. When people still game the DI, no reason not to game the TP 😄

Can anyone compare the TP to a Ventus TR Blue? I’m 50/50 on which one to go with. Thx

Have blue TR TX , and tp tx , 70 gram , feel and launch are close with the Ventus  a bit higher in LA degree or two , I get a couple miles per hr higher BS with Ventus same club head

Found a good price for a TP 7. TP 8 is too good in the 5 wood to not have a matching 3 wood shaft.

TP 8x here in my 4-5 wood. Best FW shaft I've ever played. Tried a 6x in driver but can't get along with it, too spinny.

I found the TR Blue to be a bit more stable(anti-left) compared to the TP.  Ball speeds were similar.  TP actually launched a tad higher for me.  Spin was about the same.

TP and IZ were more stable and felt more linear than the DI for me.  On the flip side, I've hit some of my longest drives with the DI.  Double edged sword, lol.

My (limited with this crowd :D) experience is the same, the DI for me was the one shaft I could really fewl more unload and pop. Timed up some good bombs. Also some draws deep into Brenda's garden.  IZ has only a smidge of that, the TP so far is very smooth.

I have an IZ 70s in a 5w I also really enjoy, and have some clubs in my garage begging for 2X  Cally trade so I am considering some paradym fairways, unsure if I will upgrade them to the TP or not. Wish cally was doing 125 for all GD older GD shafts. Greedy I know 😄

Ah. I figured you may know big Al since you two are similar high speed players😀

Alex Etches on the YT. Brenda is left and if you hit a bit block that is Barbara’s garden.

still makes me giggle when he hooks one into Brenda.

my hooks are more often me then an odd feeling shaft but the DI was one that I felt turned over more at times.
