I am guess its the players response to the course setups adjusting due to players length. A 7 wood is much easier to hit out of the thick stuff than a 3 iron into par 5s.

I find fairway woods easier to hit than hybrids. I have three: 17/21/25 degrees.

Depending on the Cally model you want, you can find them on the Bay. Love my R15 5HL.

Well look at that. I am way wrong. It does not appear to have been many of those made and they are super expensive even used... You may have found the only one to ever exist. haha.
